We are down to £8.63 in the bank . The first few weeks of the month are a nightmare with all the DDs going out, but there is still the emergency fund in the other account and all the pots are starting to build nicely. OH gets paid on thursdays so we will be OK til then.Still getting used to not having CCs to fall back on. Another NSD today.
Eaten like a horse today.....ooops, sorry Itsa, back on track tomorrow.;) xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Hi Alice, just had a catch up with your goings-on. Having just £8.63 in the bank is absolutely fine! It's a credit balance with all bills paid, another wage due within a couple of days, and emergency money available if you should need it. Sorted!LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!
Debt Dec 11: Unsecured £69,579 + Mortgage £59,948 = £129,527
Debt May 21: Unsecured ZERO! ZILCH! Mortgage £22,3320 -
Alice - stick those wrists out ready for a slapping
Did you make up for it yesterday?
I went for a spa day on Friday and there was a gym, I did a whole 30 odd minutes of exercise (I was dripping with sweat like I don't know what - yuk ) but I loved it. Really made me want to join a gym (obviously no chance of that short term :rotfl:) but I definitely felt all righteous afterwards. Shocking to think this treadmill type thingy cross trainer said I had only burnt about 180 calories (I think a banana is about 110 ) definitely cutting down on bananas they are full of sugar!Just keep swimming!0 -
Itsa
I think cross trainers are grim...but the steppers are worse imo!!
Good you managed to mix pain and pleasure on the Friday:T

Itsa - I'm slowly get back on track
. Glad to hear you enjoyed your day at the spa. What do they say..."no pain, no gain".
In the past I've done all the aerobics-gym-stepper-treadmill-swimming stuff, those were the days when I was slim. I'll have to stick to walking at the moment. When the kids were little and still in pushchairs I used to walk for miles and never give it a thought. I try and walk the dog every other day (OH/kids do the other days) I'm OK once we've actually left the house, its getting that 'get up and go'.
Friday tomorrow, can't believe how fast these weeks are going by. I try not to wish them away but I always seem to be counting down to something ie next pay day, next bill due date. One thing I am looking forward to is the end of the football/rugby season so we can have the weekends back....sorry boys.xxDMP with CCCS started Jan12 £34,906 Jan13 £31,893 Jan14 £26,836 Jan15 £21,894 Jan16 £16,839 Jan17 £14,415 Jan19 £12,938ish Jan19 £9,649 Jan20 £6612 Feb 21 0 Self managed from Jan'17

Know what you mean Alice..have just done my expenses £904!!! No wonder I feel poor and now I want that money in my account! Wishing the time away I am!
But just shows why I have cash flow issues..it's my own blooming fault... And it means I dip into the 0% and OD too to help bridge it all....
Have a great weekend
