  • Now I made my biscuits to dunk in my tea !!:A Am I showing off now ?!!!:rotfl:

Our situation is very much our guilty secret and continue Keeping Up Appearances ( sorry Happy Now for stealing your words if you reading !! :)) to the best of our ability . I doubt your MIL will suspect anything, although my mum would unfortunately grill me until she wore me down ! We always say she would have made a great interrogator ! I hide every piece of paperwork and lock the office door if they are coming round and we are out, I also used to turn off the ringer on the house phone without her knowing, so therefore she didn't realise we were being hounded with calls 20 times a day. If I needed her I rang her mobile. Not sure if thats an option for you if you find yourself in the same situation again.

I'm glad you took out the £10 and you still in proud possession of your 98p ! :D

  • My OH won't let anything slip to his family and I definately won't (think my parents would be quite disappointed). Good idea Pinot about turning off the ringer.

DFW - like me no biscuits :(, and doesn't it make you want one even more!!!

Pinot - I'm sorry to hear your biscuit dropped in your cup....drool drool.:rotfl:

OH's payday today, will need to check budget/spends tonight.

Must check Itsa is still with me on this heathly eating/no biscuits lark. xx

  • DFW I think we do. :) It's great not to have it hanging around the house. I've just done all the ironing too :A.

Had to get petrol today, and bread and milk (think we should invest in a cow!!) and pay childminder so a bit of a spend today. Off to update spending diary etc.

Hello Pmo2 welcome to my ramblings. xx

I detest ironing, it never seems to go down. Well done on getting it done.

The weather was lovely yesterday wasn't it? Made me wish that I'd put mine out, if it carries on I think I will.
  • Yippee its the weekend :). 3 loads of washing done ready to peg out first thing and have cleaned bathroom and shower tonight. We are out most of tomorrow at football, rugby and DS3 is going to a birthday party. Will probably be a LSD as will have to pay to get into football.:(

We will have overspent by £35 on petrol budget again this month but have £50ish of grocery budget left, this will have to go towards the car tax x 2 as the money in the 'car tax pot' hasn't had change to build up.

Had a bit of naughty day food wise - some jaffa cakes at home and a dip in the biscuit tin at work. But still have not eaten as much of the naughty stuff as I would of usually done. xx
