Thanks Verbatim & brizzle, I am going to go for it but....and there's always a but....I'm going to aim to self manage from 1st June. By then I will paid for DSs flights.
I will read up on what I need to do, in particular with regards to Bcard. Whatever I do I need to make sure the phone calls don't start again.
On the money front, yesterday was a NSD, not sure what number, will have to work it out. Today we've spent £8 at sports club.
Need to meal plan and shopping list. Cupboards, freezer and fridge all looking very lean.
Have done meter readings and had our bill. We have used £45 over the last 2 weeks. The bill was for £29.85 which isn't too bad considering we're just coming out of the winter. DD will stay the same.
Spends coming up - DSs school shoes and extra childcare over Easter hols (although I have booked some time off too.:) )
No pegging out today.

Wow a week since my last post. Quick update, have lost count of the NSDs, got paid on Friday instead of Monday so the bank account looked great! Have booked DSs flights.:T. Had to borrow a bit but I'm sure it will even it self out over the next few weeks.
Have been food shopping twice! Spent £46 the first time, £83 second time. Had folks round for tea last night, got family coming for dinner tomorrow.
Kids and OH have gone to get their hair cut, should be £25 for all 3.
Put £30 petrol in my car, £20 petrol in the other. Have also bought new blackout blinds for the kids bedrooms.
Need to up date spending diary/budget. I'm off work all next week....can't wait.:)

Thank you brizzle & Verbatim, I can't wait to see DS. I know it's tough on us financially but it's worth it. But I am concerned about what DS2 will want to do when he comes to leaving school.......kids are such a worry.:o
Well I've got 2 loads currently blowing about on the line. Didn't think I'd be doing that first thing this morning!!
Had a lazy few days, yesterday (which was a NSD) we did an Easter egg hunt at home for DS3 and DS2 (DS2 joined in begrudgingly lol). Had a lovely dinner with the family. When everybody had gone I just chillaxed on the sofa.
Did a bit of housework this morning, DS3 started to get a bit of cabin fever so once the rain stopped OH took him for a bike ride. This afternoon we've been to sburys, in their 25% off sale got everybody new socks (£21 in total for all of us, OH's and DS2 were £8 each:eek: good job we got 25% off). Also got DS3 a new shirt for a function we've got coming, hope his smart trousers will still fit!
Still need to update spending diary/budget....I know it's going to be extra tough this month.

Funny day today, did a bit of sorting out this morning (everybody's sock drawers :rotfl:), then I went into town to get April's birthday cards. Called into in-laws on way back just to drop something off. Also got petrol. Came home, DS played on games console for a little bit (we keep the amount of time he spends on there under control, he'd sit on there all day if I let him, and then he'd turn into a very stroppy unpleasant child!!)
I'm a funny old frog, I really didn't have any friends I could of called today to meet. There were a few people I could of met but they make me feel...sort of uncomfortable and inferior. Our financial situation is still something we don't talk to with others and at times still make me feel a failure.....even though we are doing something about it. I don't feel down about it just think its a strange situation. I talk all day to people at work so sometimes I just want to chill out on a day off.
I've finally updated spending diary/budget. It's going to be tight.....tighter than usual. Will get DSs shoes (and he need trainers) this week. I also need to pay online for next weeks childcare before he goes to the holiday club. Also need some cash to put into bday cards.
On the plus side have logged onto our DMP. Out lowest debt is now £154. Will get that paid off once I self manage.;) Highest debt is still bcard, £4800.

Hi hon
I think this does make us all feel uncomfortable which is why the anonymity and yes the support on these forums from folks who have been or are still going through it makes such a difference. Talking about money is also something the Brits do pretty poorly...
Chilling is fine too....and although I have some dear friends I also like time to myself. With all the work and domestic minutiae that time alone is very precious!!
Take care hon xxMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Thanks brizzle, I've logged on again to our DMP, I just can't keep away.lol
Got 3 loads pegged out today. At one point there wasn't a cloud in the sky, slight breeze, perfect for pegging out.:rotfl:
There was just me and DS3 at home again today. We played football, board games, cards, we've had a really lovely chilled out day.
Window cleaner came, had the whole house done instead of just the front windows £12.
