I did all the ironing in the morning. Have pegged another load out today.:)
Not sure what we are doing today. Could do with getting in the garden but DFW has been inspiring me with her diary to get some sorting out done. The trouble is everything is neatly stored away and what I start this sorting out process I know we are going to be in a mess, even though it would be temporary.
I should really have another blitz on fleabay as well.:(

If you could see my front room right now you'd say, No way to the decluttering :eek: It's an awful mess although I know it's only temporary it's pretty annoying :rotfl: Once i've sorted out proper storage for the kids toys most of the mess will be gone and all the toys are being put in the kids room from now on so no more toys in my living area :T:j I am looking forward to that bit!!

Glad you had a nice day yesterday!
I am having the same quandary today - I have started Kondoing in my bedroom but need to finish it but also I need to go and clear the brambles on our field and dig the garden and help DH put up the new fencing.
I have decided to do some Kondoing until lunch time and then will go up to the field this afternoon.
The garden can wait until the evening after work - it's easier to nip outside that pack the truck and go up the field.
I think you should Kondo today as you have a whole day to do it (especially if you make a mess) and then garden in the evenings.
Noticed that DH has been putting the heating on
I have just switched ours off - it was on a timer the same as the hot water but the house has been getting too hot especially in the mornings and it makes me feel sick so yesterday it went off and hopefully it won't need to come back on.
The evenings can be a bit cold but I guess we will have to go to bed earlier!!0 -

You're doing a fab job DFW. It's only DS3 that really has toys now and they are all in his bedroom.....which could really do with a sort out.......but everything has it's place so you know it's easier to leave it as it is.:o
We did the back and front garden today......looks really nice now.:)

I like the sound of this Kondoing thing. It's the mess whilst we get sorted I'm not keen on. Didn't quite manage any today as such, although we did tidy the shed out....a bit.:)
Can see your point about doing the garden after work. Ours should be much easier now we've sorted it.
Yes OH has been 'freezing' hence the heating on a few times. Fingers crossed it should stay off all the time for now. I'm quite happy with extra layers and a throw over me.:).

Gardens all done, shed tidied and cottage pie for tea. Typical on the hottest day of the year so far...should of made burgers instead.:D
Today was NSD3. Tomorrow will have to pay extra childcare but save on DS2s bus fare.

Today was NSD4, heating has been off for the last few days and have been pegging out.:)
We are running low on food bits -
Milk - could have toast/eggs for breakfast, low on bread
Squash- can have water, only use a tiny drop of squash anyway
Fruit - couple of apples and some very brown bananas, no fresh veg except potatoes
Bread - not much, could use crackers for packed lunch
Packed lunch for OH and DS3 a bit of a challenge. I'm on cereal for lunch at work.
We all had something different for tea to use some bits up from the freezer, but still clear plates all round.

Been lovely here today .. Too hot in the house to do anything. Well thats my excuse ! Waited till the sun went down before I fired up the vac. Took the dog over to the woods a walk, she walked herself while i sat in a sunny clearing and listened to the birds. Its a private wood, and less than 500m from the house, so when she got sidetracked chasing bunnies, i just leave her and she nips over our field home. Dog walking for the bone idle
Just logging into ebay to buy some new work things, usually from the US site as they do plus sizes so much better than the UK .. Oh and the heatings off ! Bonus !Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
Sounds idyllic Mara, my kind of dog walk.:rotfl:
I've had some right bargains on BN shoes of ebay. I've never looked at the US site, is the postage very expensive?
I managed to stay out of the supermarket last night which for me is a result. I will have to go tonight as although we can manage til tomorrow food wise we need toilet roll!!;)
Yesterday we paid works lottery, today both cars need petrol, out for lunch at work (have declined the last few times so will go this time, max spend £6), trip to supermarket after work (must write list/do meal plan first).
Booked to have hair cut tomorrow but thinking I could go another few weeks, might cancel.
Monthly payment to stepchange went out of account today (I've checked account already this morning) £475. I'm thinking nows the time to start a countdown of the months we have left. Think it will spur me on.......hope it wouldn't have the opposite effect and make me feel down. It is such a big chunk of our money.:o
Happy Friday.:)
