Hi brizzle, yeah we're still plodding on. Some days I feel like there's light at the end of the tunnel and other days I can't see the wood for the trees.......if you get my drift.

Fab weather for pegging out this week.:D

Hope everything is good with you. Had a real hectic week so looking forward to catching up with diaries.

  • Had a busy week. Monday worked over until 8, but it was NSD 9 (Sunday was NSD 8). Tuesday worked over again, OH went to post office to post ebay stuff. Postage paid for so still classing it as a NSD number 10.

The money we've made I'm going to put towards DS2s new cricket stuff.....and sell the stuff that doesn't fit.

Yesterday OH went to the supermarket, armed with a list. Spent £18, a bit more than I expected. He did spend £1.99 on a special card instead of getting a cheaper one, and I asked him to get the 'oldies' some biscuits and he got branded ones. But at least he stuck to the list more than I do, and he got petrol in my car.:)

Today have paid lottery and DS2 had some dinner money.

Looking forward to the weekend. :)

  • Have just checked what our sky bill (for landline and broadband) will be for April and they are charging us £2.50 for not having sky TV and £1 for voice mail.....think I need to shop around.

    I've not noticed this before.:o

  • Haven't gone to kids football today. Couple of reasons, DS is playing miles away so OHs gone with him and they are car sharing and we will pay £10 towards petrol. Also I've got toothache/sinus ache, can't tell which. Think it could be my wisdom tooth or an abscess. But I have had sinus infections before and it feels similar to that, anyway will see how it goes over the weekend.

Managed to peg 2 loads out so far, got another 2 to do.

Yesterday DS2 needed £10 for his end of year school meal. I went to sburys £36 and cheapy shop £14. Have got a few things to get from @ldi and we will be going past one tomorrow (off to a fun day) so will call in then......armed with a list!!

This afternoon we are going to a local park, they are putting on some shows etc. going to take a picnic to keep costs down. Will need to pay parking though.

Apart from usual housework jobs I need to put some more stuff on ebay, sort pile of paperwork that has accumulated on the side in the kitchen and sort some more cupboards/drawers. On the money front must call AA about membership renewal.

Have looked at broadband/landline deals and it's all a bit mind boggling. :(

  • Face/tooth still hurts. Think I will have to go to the dentist.:(

Whilst we were at the park yesterday the kids wanted a ice cream, cheapest from the ice cream van was £2, no flake, no juice or bits for that!! Decided against it and called into sburys on way home and bought a box of 4 for £2 so that way everybody got one.:)

Whilst we were in sburys I got the bits I was going to get from @ldi today......I think I'm obsessed with the food cupboards/fridge being full.:o

Managed to get all the washing dry yesterday and I spent last night doing all the ironing....rock n roll.;)

Today we are off to a fun day (charity fund raiser), I've got £10 left in my purse after bus money and cricket subs for next week so that is all we will have to spend.

    I haven't got any pegging out today.

  • Still only on 10 NSDs. :o

On the way back from the fun day we called in to sports shop to get DS2s cricket stuff. The top and trousers looked like they had been dragged on the floor and were covered in dust so I mentioned it at the checkout and got 5% discount. Not much but better than nothing. Washed them last night and they have come up perfect.:)

I've paid for the cricket stuff and left the money in the paypal account for now. Didn't quite make enough to cover it but have put some other bits on ebay so hopefully can make up the difference.

Tonight I'm going to call the AA see if they can offer a better price.

Still got tooth/face ache but keeping it at bay with painkillers.:(

  • Spoke to AA last night, they offered a reduced renewal price of £51. Told them I'd think about it, will call again tomorrow.

Today have been to the dentist, got a prescription for antibiotics. Total price to sort tooth out, X-rays inc checkup, scale and polish which was just about due is £175.

I've had a msg about one of the items I have on ebay, requesting a 'buy it now price'. Never sure what to do in these circumstances, I usually just say I don't have one and let it run it's course.

Need to update spending diary/budget, do meal plan and shopping list.
