  • What a spendy day:eek: Why is it when I'm trying really hard to keep the spends to a minimum I just lose control?!?

    Today I spent £26 in sburys, £10 in £1shop, £24 in M@talan (on DS2), £20 petrol, £41 @c0stco:eek:

I am not looking forward to updating the spending diary/budget.:(

If I set a foot in any supermarket establishment over then next 7 days please give me a kick up the backside.:o

We've had a letter from stepchange confirming our reduced payment for July. :(

Haven't got anything planned for tomorrow......so it should be a NSD :rotfl: Just going to potter at home.:)

  • Whoop whoop today was a NSD :rotfl:

We've just chilled out and done some jobs around the house/garden today. I've done all the ironing too.:)

OH has really got on my nerves today. He's had attitude and hasn't been able to speak to me without snapping. I mentioned something that could do with doing in the future not that very minute, and he stormed off and start getting the stuff together to do it. I didn't mean do it right now today.

OH had another letter from Aktiv k@pital offering him a deal.

I still need to update spending diary/budget. I also still need to work out childcare for the summer that needs to be paid in advance.:(

Hope everybody has a good week. :)

  • Thanks mummy, that's Monday out of the way. :)

Today was another NSD. Lol. Looking forward to starting a fresh tomorrow - albeit another tight month.:o

Tomorrow night I'll update the spending diary/budget.....when the bank account is all updated.

Think I need to do another splurge on fleabag and maybe a carboot.

    Xx

P.S. OH has snapped out of his mood. ;)

  • Whoop whoop today was NSD 1:rotfl:

The bank account is already looking very lean after the first lot of DDs that have gone out of the account today. I still haven't used the @lldi voucher, even though the kids are non stop eating at the moment I'm [STRIKE]reluctant[/STRIKE]adamant I'm not going shopping until absolutely necessary.

Managed to peg out yesterday and today.:D

The salad stuff we're growing is doing OK ish, had some tomatoes and beans but everything else is struggling.

Whilst typing this post OH has just informed me we are running very low on milk...gggrrrrr.

  • If I'd written this post a few hours ago it would of been a right rant about OH. He really pushed it tonight.

He was calling into m0rris0ns to get a few bits after he'd taken DS2 football training, he picked up an awful punnet of grapes, I asked him to get 2 x milk to tie us over until the weekend and it was 3 for £3 but he still only got 2, he picked up 2 pizzas at £2.75 each when they had a deal on anther range 2 for £3.00 (I did call him whilst he was there as I'd forgotten something and got him to swap to the pizza deal).

It wasn't so much what he'd done but his attitude to it. Why can't he be a bit more clued up and 'have his finger on the pulse'. I didn't say anything really I've just decided I'll not ask him again unless I really have to.

The car went in for its oil change today today. Other spends £16 in m0rris0ns.

    I've calmed down now. :o

  • Still only had 1NSD so far this month.:o

Today we paid works lottery and childcare. OH took the grapes back to m0rris0ns, a bit out of the way but out of principal. He got petrol too whilst he was there.

Talk at work of going to the pub tomorrow lunchtime, I've already made my excuses. :o;)

Posted the @ldi voucher to a family member so they could use it before it expired.

Nothing social planned for this weekend. Phew! :)

  • Gggrrrr I've just typed a rambling post, then it just disappeared.:(

Yesterday we had a chippy tea, £11 for 5 of us. we are only having chippy/take away tea on the first Friday of every month...and we are sticking to that.:)

My friend has offered to get my usual things from c0stc0 today, have given her my list and £40, at least I won't be tempted to get any 'extras'.:o

Today we are going to sort out the house, and garage and shed if we have time. I feel very claustrophobic here at the moment, feel like there is too much stuff everywhere. Will have a good clean too.

I need to put some school uniform we have to sell (practically brand new) in the local paper this week. I must do this.

Have pegged 3 loads and got another 3 to do, although might wait until tomorrow as the line is full. Have been a bit lapse with the pegging out this week.:o

I have cancelled my hair appointment for today. I'm going to see if I can go another 3-4 week! Could get very wild and messy :rotfl:

Hope everybody has a good day.
