I'm trying to remain positive but have to say this has got to be the 'poorest' we have been for long time. It's just a blip I know.:o

Alice..stay strong, you are doing great and have come so far. Cash flow is also going to be my issue for the next weeks..bit daunting but you have to go with it. Just look after the pennies and try and make things frugal as much as possible. We will do it together :T
My treat at Al£I today will be a nice bottle of white. Then a sit in the garden after dinner with a glass. Don't need anything else. (Or I don't want anything else, if I mentally approach it that way, iykwim)
Can you get a breather this eve and prepare yourself for the week ahead?

I hope you manage to juggle the pennies, sometimes it feels like such hard work doesn't it and I know what you mean about keeping a front up, I had a friend say to me last week when we were talking that it was ok for me because I didn't really need to work, I was thinking if you only knew:eek:!
Take care and have a good day.x.
Hi pwps, it does feel like you've got another job all this debt busting malarkey.......we've had the same sort of thing said to us and yeah if only they new eh.:o
XxHi Alice, can't remember if I've posted on your diary yet, but I've been reading it.
I totally understand where you are at the moment. We are the poorest we have ever been at the moment. Once the rent goes out and the next set of benefits comes in we will be OK, but until then we have literally pennies
Hope everything picks up for you soon xx
Thank you lhead123, I feel your pain, it is a constant uphill struggle but we'll get there in the end....I hope.;)
Good luck on your journey too.

I thought my post from Thursday sounded as though I was being selfish, getting hair stuff when the cupboard/fridge are practically empty.:o.
We've been to sburys this morning and spent £24.35 (DS paid money back), I'd done a meal plan so just got bits we need for the week, also had to get toilet rolls (would recommend sburys basic 6 for £2).
We were going to do a carboot this morning but it was raining.:(
We've still got the money in the £2 and 20p pots, I really want to try and not use that money as that's for Christmas.
Rain stopped so going to peg out.;)

Hope the evening's relaxation goes well, Alice. Based on recent performances I think we can already guess the evening's football results so I figure why watchMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I'm not sure if I'm being unreasonable?!?! OH has liked a picture of his ex on FB, I don't have any problem with him liking pictures but his ex has been the bane of my life. They split before we got together but over the years she just has to raise her 'ugly' head (to be fair ugly she is not) every now and again.
He has contacted her behind my back previous but I told him this time it wasn't a problem but then I found out he is starting all the conversation, asking her how she was etc.
The only word I can use to describe how I feel is 'broken' (probably sounds very melodramatic), here we are down to our last £6 I'm trying to hold everything together and he's checking how his ex is. I've kept calm about it and I don't want the kids to find out be inside I'm so angry.
On a lighter note..........On the food front I'm quite enjoying the challenge this week with limited food available. We've had some strange concoctions but nobody is hungry. Have got meals sorted until Thursday but making sure there is enough food in everybody lunches is bit more of a challenge.

Oh Alice, im sorry to read your last post. Im not surprised you feel so hurt, I would too. (Hugs) to you xxMummytogirls x0

Oh Alice I'm so sorry, I would be fuming if that was my OH, in fact he would be strung up from his you know whats.
Could you try writing him a letter telling him how you feel, sometimes in goes in better that way as it is in front of them in black and white, men tend to switch of when you talk to them.
Big hugs honey.x.0 -
Aww ((hugs))) I'd be angry too.
A letter might be good - if I tried to speak to him I'd burst into tearsSealed pot challenge 822

:grouphug: that is carp. Very selfish of him.
Think you need to agree a time when you can explain how you feel. How carped on from a great height etc. You are fighting to keep afloat and he is ignoring your feelings and concerns.
Be calm but also very very clear about how much he has hurt you.

Thank you mummy, pwps, dawnybabes and brizzle.
I sort of lost it a bit with OH when I came in tonight but then pulled it back together when DS2 and DS1 came back. When I asked him 'why' he just said 'he didn't know why', I spurted something like 'our marriage is over' which really helped the situation.....not! Then we just carried on the rest of the evening as if everything was hunky dory.:(
We need to talk. I know she will always be in his/our life (children involved) but now the children are older does she really need to be in constant contact with him? The children are not the problem, I have tried on numerous occasions to welcome them into our home/family, not being too over the top or false, but it's always been thrown back in my face so now me and the kids don't have any contact with them at all. OH keeps in touch with them.......always on their terms though!!
Sounds like a right soap opera.:o
