Go to the dentist and if they ask for payment there and then, which is unlikely unless they can do all the work that is needed in the emergency appointment, say you don't have your purse with you and will have to come back to pay. It may be a little embarrassing but it's worth it if it gets you out of pain and my guess is they won't even ask for it.

  • Well Thursday was its usual spend day, paid the usual.

Thursday night I came down with some bug and was off work yesterday, managed to drag myself out of bed yesterday evening. Feel like I've lost 24hrs, not nice.:(

Anyway last night I taxed the car's', this morning I still feel a bit fragile so I'm not going with the kids to their sports club. But I have managed to peg out.:D

In February we spent £310 on groceries, £155 on petrol and had 11NSDs.

  • Have done meter readings this morning, we are £109 on credit (but a payment only went in on Friday so perhaps not as good as it seems). We have used £29 over the last 2 weeks, having the heating off as much as possible has really paid off.:D

OH going to supermarket this morning, with a list....which he will stick too. I've sorted bus and milk money, have left £1 in my purse (just in case!), I've put the rest of the change in the 'leisure pot'. Haven't added any money to the other pots.....having just paid for the car tax.

Still need to pay for school trip, and the dentist, although it's eased off at the moment still going to get it checked out though!

Think I'll get the ironing out the way this morning, just pegged 1 load out this morning. Hopefully it will blow a bit before it rains.:D

You know amber that is exactly what's happened :rotfl: at the moment the pain is 2/10! I've got an appointment tomorrow anyway.

Well done on keeping the heating off during the day......we're (except OH) all quite hardy now.;)

  • Upto 3 NSDs, although the window cleaner came today but hasn't come back for his money yet!.....keeping up appearances and all that.

We've had the water rates today, £564 over 8 months (starting next month).

Pegged out yesterday and today. Heating still off, although you can actually see your breath in the living room tonight.:o

Struggling to get OH to look for another job. I don't want to push or nag him, it's got to be his doing. I have offered to help him but he's not very forthcoming. :(

Tomorrow will have to pay the usual, get petrol, get some milk, bread, etc. Still haven't paid for school trip and we need to get the extra work (fan) done on the 'other car' (£50), OH has reminded me about this tonight...gee thanks for that.:o

I did mange to put 2 things on fleabag at the weekend, still no watchers or bids. Think we'll just save everything for the carboot sale.

Family birthday coming up, got present in the Christmas sales so already prepared. DS3 off to a party at the weekend, will need to get a present for that. Then got 2 more family birthdays which will need to buy present for.

    Nearly the weekend.:)
