Upto 3 NSDs, although the window cleaner came today but hasn't come back for his money yet!.....keeping up appearances and all that.

We've had the water rates today, £564 over 8 months (starting next month).

Pegged out yesterday and today. Heating still off, although you can actually see your breath in the living room tonight.:o

Struggling to get OH to look for another job. I don't want to push or nag him, it's got to be his doing. I have offered to help him but he's not very forthcoming. :(

Tomorrow will have to pay the usual, get petrol, get some milk, bread, etc. Still haven't paid for school trip and we need to get the extra work (fan) done on the 'other car' (£50), OH has reminded me about this tonight...gee thanks for that.:o

I did mange to put 2 things on fleabag at the weekend, still no watchers or bids. Think we'll just save everything for the carboot sale.

Family birthday coming up, got present in the Christmas sales so already prepared. DS3 off to a party at the weekend, will need to get a present for that. Then got 2 more family birthdays which will need to buy present for.

    Nearly the weekend.:)

    Xx

You do make me giggle with your pegging out Alice. I have discovered that our office is the warmest room in the house, so I am currently working surrounded by the clothes horse with the undies hanging on it !! I will have to remember to remove them as we have a client coming for a meeting tomorrow and I'm not sure he needs to see that !! :D

  • Still only on 3NSDs:o

I went of the dentist and I need a filling (as I thought!), but ended up having 3 X-rays. So total bill £185......checkup, X-rays, filling and scale & polish. I've got to go back for s&p and have to settle the bill then.:o

Today we've been shopping, £26 in @ldi, £13 at the butchers,£12 in £shop and £44 in sburys, not all food!!:rotfl: stocked up on toiletries, cleaning stuff and got birthday presents. Also had to get DS3 some new trainers.

Really need to update spending diary/budget. Eon asked for a meter reading this weeks so they could do our bill, did it today and we have used £15 in a week. Heating still off and the tv isn't on half as much as it was now that sky has gone.

Took DS3 to a birthday party today at the indoor play, spent £6 on drinks:eek:.......forgot to take some with me.£1.30 for a fruit sh00t., a small one at that!

Things on ebay not doing very well, but they don't finish until tomorrow night so fingers crossed.

    Update on pots,20p upto £28 and £2 upto £34.

  • I am on fire this morning :p. everywhere vac'd, dusted, cleaned, polished, 3 loads on the line, dog walked and money sorted for next week (had to borrow 45p off DS2 to make up his own bus money!). Purse is now empty.:o

I'm going to get the ironing done and that leaves me the rest of the day to chill out and have some family time. :)

Hope everybody is having a great day.

  • We've had our bill from eon, £325 for the last quarter, something like £207 gas and £95 for elec (plus vat, can't remember the exact figures.....it's been a long day:) ). We are now £94 in credit. Pretty pleased with that, coming out of the winter in credit.:)

    Today was NSD 4.

Managed to sell 1 item on ebay for 99p ;)

Hi Alice..you're doing so well, ugh to the dental bill,

I did think your water bill seems very high..we pay £47pm for water. Has there been a mistake?

    Have a good eve

Hi Brizzle, yeah unfortunately it's right, we're on rates, still toying with having a meter fitted. Although I did read that if your bills are higher after 12 months once a meter is fitted, you can ask to go back on rates. Not sure if that still applies.

  • Yesterday I met a friend for lunch at the supermarket caf! (got staff discount as she works there :)), also picked up some Hnz baked beans as they were on offer.........We've cut back on most things but beans unless they are been added to something have to be Hnz.;):o

I was shattered when I got in last night and the house was a real mess. Not sure how that happened in 2 days but it has, so had a grumble at everybody and went to bed early. Will have a tidy round tonight or it will just get me down.

The upstairs toilet flush handle has broken, now this has been on its way out for years and its one of those little jobs that OH has been meaning to do!!! A little job for tonight.:( I've priced the new part about £5ish.

The item I sold on ebay at the weekend has not been paid for yet, c'mon its only 99p (plus postage) LOL.

  • It's been nearly a week since I've posted.:( I just haven't been 'feeling the love' these last few days. On the money front it's still looking lean, have paid for DS2s school trip, cancelled the dentist as toothache practically gone (but will make another appointment for in a few weeks time), spent £62 at sburys, £40 on petrol and £22 on tickets for a football match:eek:

Asked OH to get some cash on Sunday evening and instead of £20 he got £100 out......by mistake!! How? I've no idea. I completely stressed out as DDs due out yesterday and without that money there wouldn't be enough money in the account to cover them. I had to do a 25mile round trip at lunch time to put the £80 back into the account.

Hoping my 'get up and go' comes back. Will try and catch up on diaries, hope everybody is OK. This journey to becoming DF can be such a challenge!:o:)
