Thanks for your posts V, MTG & DFW. OH doesn't know much more, there is another meeting on Monday. The 'new position' is...... shall we say 'not as challenging' as the other one but for now its a job.:(:)

Yestersday being friday we had chippy tea (2 portions of chips to share) after football training.

Today we've got petrol £30, spent £13 at farm shop and £14 in A1di. I've thinking of going back to ordering online to save time and hopefully money, so may do the next shop online we'll see.

Spent £3.50 at sports club this morning.

We are off to a party tonight, its fancydress. I've spent about £7 on extras for our homemade costumes, so not too bad for the 4 of us, and we've got £25 to spend (dont plan on spending it all).

Got a letter today from E0n confirming the new DD date.:)

Tomorrow I'm going to update spending diary/budget and do meal plan for the week.......back to school so back to packed lunches ggrrrrr.

We had a great time on Saturday night, although we only came home with £2.12 ooops!!

Yesterday was a NSD.:) Managed to update spending diary/budget and meal planning upto Wednesday. Had a good clean/tidy up around the house, and pegged out all the washing. But now the dining room has all 3 airers up just to finish drying it all.

Still going to look at the heated airers but that will have to be next month. Have sent DS1 the extra money for his trip so we can now get back on track.

Feeling nervous regarding the news about the coop bank, not that we have any 'money' in the bank but even so.......

October spends on petrol £210 (both cars), groceries £305.

We had 'company' last night so the heating did go on. Had it on 18degrees and once they had gone switched it off. To be honest the house has felt quite damp over the last few days so have timed it to come again this afternoon and I will switch if off about 7ish.

Yesterday was a NSD, but as I haven't got round to ordering shopping online I will have to call into supermarket on way home to get some bits (mainly milk & bread). Will need to get petrol too.

OH is really struggling at work, not only is the 'new' job pants, the future doesn't look good. But I'm going to keep plodding.:(:)

Will send DS1 our final contribution to his 'trip' this Friday, then get back on track with regards to topping up the money pots, get Christmas all sorted and then sort the emergency fund out.......it all looks so simple on paper!!

The service indicator has just come on in the car. It is due a 'major' service. Will get some prices and see.

Last night got petrol and spent £27 in sburys. Also got cash for childminder, lottery and leisure pot (DS3s swimming lessons due, don't think there is quite enough money in the pot :().

We've got a bit of sunshine this morning. :)

Gawd, how stressful Alice. A miserable OH is no fun at all. Really hope he gets something better soon..is it worth looking around?

The money just seems to leak away doesn't it..few quid here and there. Trying hard to keep my wallet shut and minimise ALL spends..but not always easy.

    Keep on plodding x

Thanks brizzle, you are so right it - money does seem to disappear. Sometimes I think the harder you try and kerb the spending the faster it goes.:(

Had a pretty hectic couple of days. Family crisis so extra spends, petrol, parking charges, and take out. None of it planned but sometimes these things just can't be helped.

Also had heating on a bit, had company and people sleeping over so 'keeping up appearances' and all that.......mind you its off tonight!!:)

Meal planning/food shopping not been going well over the weekend. Must get back on track.

DS2s sports clubs fees need paying and he was booked on a trip so extra £15 needed there.

    Today was a NSD.:)

Update from Bcard loan, balance Nov 12 was £3654, balance Nov 13 £2987.

Update from Bcard, balance now £7752. Going to update balances on Stepchange DMP.

    Will keep plodding. xx
