It's like groundhog day every Thursday.:rotfl:

I really don't know where to start with this post.:(
Yesterday OH had to go get some bits from the fancydress shop to get some bits for a party we are going to next weekend. Spent £6.
After football we had a chippy tea. Spent £9ish.
Today went A1di and spent £29, did get some fruit and veg (keep trying it from there!!) and lots of store cupboard ingredients but the trolley just seemed empty for that amount of money. Plus the main thing we went to have a look at the 'heated airer', they didn't have any.:(
Went to Matarlan to have a look at some hotwater bottles I'd seen in there, firstly the store was so hot and secondly they seemed to of sold out of a lot of the gifts on the 3for2 offer. So came out empty handed.
Called into sburys for the bits from there, managed to get a few christmas gifts in the toy sale too. Spent £67.
Over £100 spent today in food stores, although not all on food, will break the receipts down and make a note in the spending diary and transfer the money for the Christmas gifts.
Also pegged out and it's just about dried.....think that could be it for pegging out for a bit if the forecast is right.eek!
No childminder fees, milk money or bus money next week. Plus I've got some time off work.:D
Hope everybody is OK. I've been reading diaries but don't always get chance to log in and post.

Christ you scared me with the first line of your post
I started reading and thought it all seemed normal and the worst was at the bottom so I went straight to the bottom and realised that nothing bad had happened :rotfl:
I think your spending was fine especially given the time of year and the need to start getting Xmas presents.
At least you had the money to do it due to holidays and did not spend the childminders money, milk money and bus money and then had a panic about what to do:rotfl:0 -
I am with you EE!! Looked well scary.
But then I realised that all the spends were thought about and considered..well done you. I have just spent £44 with the B@@k people..but it's quite a lot of gifts sorted and several are books that my DDs wanted which would have been a lot more full price. as Martin says Xmas does come around every year and you have to spend something..

I am so sorry ladies, I didn't mean the start of that post to be anything sinister, just seem to be spend spend spend over the 48hrs. My apologies.:o:)
Yeah all 'necessary' spends and all accounted for. I did the same last year with the book club, you get some good deals.
Today has been a LSD, took DS3 to a party at the indoor play so just purchased a drink for me as he had party food etc.
brizzle, DS1 is doing very well, still a bit homesick but studying hard and enjoying the experience. He's got the chance of a trip so going to have a look at the finances tonight and see if we can send any contribution....every little bit helps!

Yesterday the spending continued. DS2 needed some new running shoes for athletics, the best deal we could find was £35. I even checked on line to see if I could find them cheaper.:( Oh well its done now and he was very grateful, I almost filled up in the sports shop when he said thank you.......feeling a bit emotional at the moment,:o.
DS3 had a doctors appointment yesterday also, that was £2.00 parking.
Today we have an opticians appointment, that will be £2.50 parking!! Then I'm going to a friends who lives on the other side of town, there's a different A1di store near her so will call in there to see if they have the airers.
Have updated budget, we can send DS1 some more for his trip if we don't pay E0n (we are £200 in credit when I logged into the account) and we reduce our payment to Stepchange in Novembers payment. Which I know neither is a good idea but........I feel completely torn.
I've had a letter from C@p1tal saying they didn't receive the agreed payment last month, and it had the outstanding balance, which is £120 less than on our plan. So I've updated that and our total current figure stands at £27,786....gulp!
Will speak to Stepchange later about the 'missing payment'.

Sorry dfw I didn't mean for the start of that post to mean anything other than aarrgghh to all the spending.
Didn't get an airer......popular little beasties. A1di don't know if they are getting anymore so will check the l@kel@and one out.
Have spoken to OH about not paying eon Novembers payment and reducing the payment to stepchange.......usual response.......nothing. He didn't say anything, just looked at me and shrugged. I said I know its not ideal but.......!!

I have just spoken to eon and haven't cancelled the payment but changed the date the DD comes out of the account. It will now come out on the 28th instead of the 2nd.
The heating is still off at the moment......and will be off for a little while longer now.:(:o

Heating is still off here too
it was cold this afternoon when it chucked it down with rain for hours on end but I made hot water bottles and got kids to put a jumper on, they were fine after that and I ended up with both hot water bottles
