Time is just flying by this week.:o

OH had an emergency trip to the dentist yesterday, £78:eek:

OHs received a letter offering him a saving of £300 off his outstanding cc bill of £1100 if he pays in full before end of November!!

Still helping with family problems this week so extra spends on petrol and parking.

But did manage to peg out yesterday and didn't have the heating on last night.:)

    Hi Alice :)

How are you managing to dry anything outside?! I must have a super shady garden as I tried it the other week and it was just cold and wet after 8 hours rather than being warm and wet lol. Gave up with that idea ;)

I hope the family troubles are not too serious and not costing you for much longer xx

Thanks dfw321, I think I must just be very lucky with drying the washing. It certainly isn't 100% dry but usually just needs airing overnight. :)

I've had the night off from helping family out, I must admit I am shattered. Think this will carry on for at least another week....but can't be helped.:(:)

Today OH had a statement from bcard, balance £1580, paying off £21.52 per month and they are adding £4.05 interest. it's going to be a long 4yrs and 10months til our DFD!!!

I called into sburys on way home from work and picked up some bits. I'm going to update spending diary/budget tonight (really must, I'm way behind eek!!) Also got some cash to pay usual - childminder, lottery, leisure pot, bus money next week. Also got a bit extra for parking.

Take Care Alice, you are doing an amazing job.

Really hope all pans out well with OH's job.

So sorry to hear about the family crisis, having just gone through three months of that myself I know how draining it can be, emotionally and financially. I am glad you were able to have a break from it all yesterday and hopefully recharge your batteries just a tiny bit. .

I'm with DFW, how on earth are you managing to peg the washing. Mine is on the airer in the bathroom as its a lovely warm room, but I would stand no chance pegging it out in the garden.

    Take CAre xxx

Awww thank you for your supportive posts. I'm extra emotional at the moment, think its a combination of everything. :(:o

I have pegged out again today (3 loads :)), at the moment the weather doesn't look too promising but fingers crossed.:D

We're off to sports club this morning and my turn to help in the kitchen, the kids get a free sausage sandwich for my efforts.

I've done the meter readings this morning, can't believe the last time I did them was 20th October!!, anyway we are £39 in credit but the reason that figure is much lower is because we've changed the DD to the end of the month. OH has been putting the heating on a bit to be honest and I've been too tired to argue this week. :(

Hope everybody is OK, have been nipping on here at work and ready diaries but haven't had chance to post.

Wow that weekend went a bit quick.:(

Yesterday I went the the butchers and then called into 'Freezerland', mainly for some milk. Got to the checkout only to find my card didn't work, waiting 5 minutes for the supervisor, during this time I could feel myself getting redder and redder and my bottom lip started to tremble, only to be told that there was a problem with all cards and it was nothing personal. Why couldn't the person on the till tell me that instead of making me suffer for what seemed like hours. I didn't have any cash so had to leave empty handed.

Didn't want to chance my card at A1d1 so ended up going 5 miles down the road to the sburys.........although I did get cash from the cashpoint....no problem.:)

Today I've managed a NSD and caught up on lots of jobs around the house.......apart from the ironing. Also did a bit of batch cooking to make things easy whilst I'm doing all this 'running around'.

Tomorrow I will have to get petrol.:(

I need to contact sky about our bill, see if they can doing anything now that our 'deal' has ended. Also want to get up to date balances on the other debts not in my sig.

Thanks brizzle & mummy, had a better day today and I feel better now that I've caught up on some jobs...and had the heating on a bit.:)
