Hope you feel chirpier..but maybe you just need a rest..you certainly deserve one. Just go with the flow...and maybe retrieve your get up and go next week?

    Certainly forget the £@ipping ironing:rotfl:

Know what you mean about eating, we're just eating rubbish at the moment.

Everybody has days where their" get up and go" has just"" got up and gone.

What will you be watching at the cinema tomorrow.x

Hi amber, I wish my 'get up and go' would get up and come back. LOL.

The kids would like to see Despicable Me 2, think that just DS2 and DS3 are going now. I'm not that fussed really, and it gives me an hour and half to chill out....alone.:rotfl:

Not much in the way of productive activity here either on the slow grind waiting for pay day......

When is your payday scotbeds? Mine is Friday.....and I can't wait. We are down to £4.19 in the bank, although OH does get paid tomorrow as he is weekly paid.

  • I did go and get petrol last night, and called into sburys mainly to get cinema stuff, ended up spending £24. But did get some bargains for the freezer.:)

I've updated spending diary/budget and we have £4.19 left in that account. I'm going to transfer £20 out of the emergency fund, just incase I've missed something.

Kids are going to the cinema (money out of the pot :)), I was going to drop them off and come back.....and then go back for them but I could just take a blanket and my book and chill in the park for a bit......but that feels alien to me, I feel like that is wasting time when I could be at home.......doing the ironing.:rotfl:

Healthy eating is going OKish. Probably haven't eaten enough in a strange way, and trying to keep off the tea (I was doing so well) and drink more water.

    Roll on Friday.........:).

The kids thought the movie was great, just under £6 for 2 tickets, and they took their own snacks in, I didn't that was too bad.

I did come home after I'd dropped them off and did all my ironing out on the patio. Then I finished sorting all the paperwork out that I'd started yesterday.

I tried to get through to the tax credit people this evening, we haven't heard anything back from them following their investigation, and I need to make sure that DS1 has been taken off for this tax year as well. Will try again first thing tomorrow.

As OH gets paid tomorrow I'll nip into town, I need to get some birthday cards (5 for £1), birthday presents x2 and toiletries.......and that is all!!!;)

The tax credit saga continues, although they have our 'figures' for last tax year now they can't do our review whilst their investigation goes on, so chased the investigating department and they don't have any record of receiving the information that I sent in June, so I have to fax it over now.:(:(

Late working, not good brizzle.:( xx

  • Don't get me started on tax credit, I swear they don't know their ar$£ from their elbow:mad::mad:

Fingers crossed they get it sorted quickly.
  • The laptop is not happy, when it does fire up it is getting very very hot even though the fans are going.......hang on in there laptop.:(

OH's payday yesterday so I went to town, £2 on parking!!, spent £16 in HB's on toiletries, cleaning products and birthday present, £3ish in the card shop (got 7 cards for £1 and to be fair they're quite nice cards), £10 on another birthday present and put £30 petrol in the car.

    My payday today.:)

We're going to a wedding reception tomorrow, no wedding list as gifts in the form of cash preferred, the trouble is you can't really put less than £20 in a card......can you??!!??. The venue is also very expensive, our budget is £20 with an extra £10 for emergencies only.

Hair cuts all round tomorrow too, and I'm having mine blow dried as a treat.

The tax credit saga goes on! Called to do our review and although they have our figures for last year now as we are still being 'investigated' they can't do the review until thats sorted. Called the 'investigating department' and they don't have any trace on the paperwork I sent. Which I find strange and the letter they sent was quite threatening and payments would stop if they didn't receive the info so......... have to fax over the paperwork now (luckily I kept a copy).

Off to the park this morning and then when OH comes home later off shopping for new shoes for him for tomorrow night (I sold his other 'dress' shoes on fleabay because they were old fashioned and forgot to get a new pair.Oooops!) Found some at Mat-ar-lan for £15.
