I also haven't got on the scales yet
:o and i daren't! I'm trying to 'use' up all the food in the house before buying a big shop....and well, the only food left over is junk  so i expect to gain a few more lb's before new year yet
!
Hope you're all feeling better from the bug soon. We've all had it here, some of us (unlucky ones) twice :rotfl:....it's going now though thankfully.!
I can't wait to get back to a normal diet, how odd does that sound! But i feel bloated, fat, my IBS has played up something chronic and I've no energy! Remind me why i love junk food again :rotfl::rotfl:
As for your OH, i think once they relinquish control of their money, 'budget' (term applied very loosely lol) , and freedom for spending they kind of have a male pride panic attack over it. In Jan we will have been on a dmp for 1 year and Hubby is still coming to terms with it :wall::doh:!
Itsa - You must be really tall. At eleven and half stone i was clinically obese, and have lost a stone (actually lost 2 and put one back onbut hey ho) and am still bordering overweight :rotfl:i'm kinda coming to terms with the fact I am curvy now and s0d It! :rotfl:

Had a trip out to the shops this afternoon. OH still having a bit of a strop but managed a bit of a smile when we found some trainers (much needed as other pair fallen apart) at a bargain price that he could spend his birthday money on. He does do a lot of sport so they will be put to good use.
Found gifts for SIL and niece at 75% off. Plus OH popped into supermarket whilst we stayed in car!!! to just get some lemonade, kitchen roll and cat food. So minimum spend as he didn't buy anything else.........not that we need any other food stuff at the moment, just old habit of having to have surplus food in the shopping trolley.
I will get on the scales on the 1st Jan and access the damage. Having a little tipple tonight (and will be over weekend) and now the kids are feeling better it won't be long until all the treats and goodies are gone. I need to lose a lot of weight if not only for my health/myself/family etc but as I have a wardrobe full of great clothes I can't get into to!!

Feeling positive today. Have checked bank balance and spending from yesterday and can account for every penny so that's a start.
Going to take Christmas tree etc down today, do housework, wrap birthday presents and write all the cards for all the January birthdays.
I'm going to get going as I could quite easily sit on here all day!!!!

Well we are slowly getting back to normal (whatever normal is!). Tree etc all down and put away, all downstairs is now spotless. Doesn't it feel fresh when you take everything down
Took a trip to the supermarket this morning to get bits for next weeks packed lunches, milk and basic bits.
Will do another food plan for next week using up the food that's in the freezer (which is full but it is only 3 drawers) and cupboards as we didn't eat as much this week due to folks been ill.
Need to put £25 petrol in my car as this is my weekly allowance, OH got his this morning at supermarket, kids bus fare for school all ready put to one side, that leaves about £4ish in cash lets see if it can last the week (did have a bit more that than left but there were some £2 coins so they got put in the pot). Now we shouldn't need anymore money for anthing else until Friday so lets see how many NSDs I can do.
I will get on the scales tomorrow

Well we made it into 2012 and I have made it onto the scales........have put 4lb back on from my 9lb weight loss before Christmas, so I will get back on track immediately and work on 7lb at a time.
Got lots to do today, amongst other things on my list my main things are sort kids bedrooms out, wash and vac cars, sort through mountain of paperwork that has accumulated (OH and kids will be doing their bit too). I am determined not to let things get to the state they were in 2 months ago(when I started this journey).

Well nearly that 'back to work' time. I have taken the dog out for an extra long walk today. Didn't feel like eating much today (mmm strange), but have got meals planned for the week. Not looking forward to having to do packed lunches again.
Have checked finances for this month, although DMP now set up we will need to Tax both cars at the end of February....eek. I have still got £4.25 in my purse and this is our 2nd NSD. So all in all feeling good today and very positive.

First morning back at work over and done with.....yippee.
Folks have already started to talk about when our next payday is. I'm keeping quiet about our finances and our DMP. I would hate for anybody to know. I feel so ashamed as it is. At least the phone calls have eased up a bit.
Looking like NSD number 3. xx
