• Feel like I've fallen of the debt busting wagon. I only went out for 1 night (last night with some friends,it was great night with some lovely people....but I still didn't mention my little DMP secret :() and I feel like i've lost all control. I've just had to transfer £20 out of the emergency fund so OH could go and out some petrol in the car.

Called in sburys on way home, spent £30 on bits and pieces......we've got to sort the FF situation out.

Had the bill for next months afterschool club and that's wrong so need to sort that out.

I think I'm going to have an early night and start again tomorrow. Hope everybody is OK......nearly payday and the weekend is just around the corner. :) xx

• Today we've had a letter from sky offering to extend our deal for another 3 months.......nice surprise.:)

Have managed to get my spending diary/budget up to date, now I can get back on track! Still only had 9 NSDs this month.....could do much better.

Haven't had chance to sort dog insurance or roadside assistance out yet or the fridge/freezer....I've got to get a grip this week, don't know whats the matter with me.:(

OH had a letter from work confirming the Bike to Work Scheme, we've looked on the web at the shops that are in the scheme and the bikes start from £500 pound. There are suitable bikes in H@lf0rds for £250/£300 (don't know if they are in the scheme as not on the B to W S website). I know we can spread the cost under scheme but it would still be £10ish per week. Something else we need to sort out before OHs current bike falls apart!

Today we have paid childminder, got money for works lottery, gave £5 to DS1 for petrol and had a chippy tea. Tommorrow OH going to butchers and will pay DS2 his pocket money.

Nearly the weekend.:) xx

• Don't forget though that Bike 2 Work money is taken before NI/Tax, so £10.00 is really about £7.00. ;)

Thanks Workie, a 'single' figure sounds more manageable and we should be able to afford it as we are only running 1 car now.......and helping DS1 with his. Hopefully we will get to the bike shop this afternoon.xx

• I couldn't get this blinking laptop to work last night. I've been on Quidco this morning and the laptop keeps crashing so will have have to sort pet insurance and roadside assistance at work in my lunch hour on monday.

I've been up since 6.30am, couldn't sleep last night. I've pegged 2 loads out, got another in the machine. Thinking of trying to make my own washpowder following DFW321 receipe. I've got about half a big box left so plenty of time to get everything together.

DS1 and OH are off to some football thing this morning. DS2 is still in bed, and DS3 brought his drum kit and guitars down and set up in the living room.....this could get noisy!

I'm going to sort out the massive pile of paperwork that has accumulated on the side in the kitchen. OH has had letters from Cabot about our 2 bank accounts (they were joint accounts but only he's had a letter!), offering discount if we settle the account......for a limited time only folks! I really don't like these letters because if I had the money we wouldn't be in this situation in the first place...blah blah blah.

Need to do a shopping list and meal plan. Also need to get dog food today and more petrol.
I will have to get some 'better' shampoo and conditioner, the A1di stuff has been OK but don't think I can use it all the time. My hair is like straw and I've only straightened it once this week, I'm not too keen on this 'wild' look.;)

I haven't put anything on fleabay for a few weeks, need to get to grips with these new postage charges.

Hope everybody has a great weekend. xx

Aww DFW, it's not just me then! I think this week has been terrible and there hasn't been any real reason for it...anyway today has been better (for us both just caught up with you diary:)) so we're back on track. I got some shampoo and conditioner half price from sburys for my [STRIKE]mane[/STRIKE] hair, but will definately look at am@zon. I'd looked when we went to C0stc0 but it was still quite as expensive. xx

• We went to the bike shop and had a look. OH going back next week to have a look at a another bike they're going to make up for him. Looks like it will cost about £7 a week so that's good.....only downside is that is will probably take a few weeks for OHs works to sort the paperwork out, and I've told him he's got to wear a bike helmet!!!

Went to A1di and sburys and spent £62 in total but that does include my shampoo and conditioner, a new washing basket, sugar for OH to take to work (he'll get the money back) so total spend on food about £50. Total spend on food this month £325 ish.:)

Total spend on petrol this month £120, and OH has put about £20 in DS1s car.

This morning I managed to sort all the post/paperwork that was accumlating in the kitchen, have made a list of things I need to do/sort out. Will try and get them all sorted next week and clear the side completely.......yeah right!:D

i'm hoping we can do the front garden tomorrow. I can't believe how quick the weeds have come up this week.....doesn't help that the neighbours either side are very garden proud, I feel embarassed so need to get out there asap. DS2 football season has finished so we've got sundays free now.:j

Morning Alice,

Im glad you have got your nice shampoo and conditioner again, you will feel a million dollars once youve washed your hair in it again!!! Im not sure what you use but im on with tr3semme at the mo and ive always managed to get it for about £2 odd a bottle when on offer. It seems to last ages too but im the only one that uses it!!!

Good news about DH's bike and not bad at £7 a week. How long will you paying the £7 for? Cheaper than a weeks worth of petrol thats for sure! My DH has a pedal bike too but he hasnt gone on that for a while but its there for when he does! He also wears a helmet!

Hope you get round to doing the garden tomorrow. Our neighbours arent bothered with their gardens so id say our looks the best and all weve got is grass :rotfl:!!!

Have a lovely Sunday xx

Usually I'm the only one using 'my' shampoo and conditioner, but sometimes DS1 and DS2 sneak a bit. I like Tr3semme, it seems I do need to use the 'better' ones on my hair. Before my LBM I used to buy them from the hairdressers @ £10 per bottle.

The £7 per week for the bike is for 52 weeks.....not too bad.

We managed to weed the front garden/drive etc but the lawn mower packed up. It's petrol and although it will start it doesn't stay running. OH did use it last month and said he had a problem with it then, managed to do the front but it kept stopping.......both sets of neighbours came out and asked if it had petrol in it!!! OH's had a tinker with it but couldn't find anything obvious. Will call the repair man and see what he says.

Have sorted this weeks money out, now have just pennies in my purse. Don't need any money for the next few days and today was a NSD...number 10.:)

Have done all the ironing (did 2 sessions today...get me ;)), cleaned all upstairs and bathrooms, put the vac round downstairs so all set for the week.

Things I must sort out this week - dog insurance and roadside assistance. Going to put a new fridge/freezer on hold until we've sorted the mower out.

Hope everybody has a good week.xx
