Did you get a better night's sleep last night?
Not really as DD2 woke me at 3.30am knocking on the door as she was too drunk to make her key work, then DH went to loo about 5ish and then DHs alarm went off at 6am and then I got up at 7.15 ish but guess it's better than getting up between 2am and 4am and staying up...could've throttled the pair of them..lol

have sorted mine and DHs Isas out and I've opened a new 2.8% saver.I know there are better savers but this one suits me.I use the Isas to save the car expenses in and the tax for the tax man.The savings account will be used to save any spare towards the mortgage. My offset mortgage is only 0.99% so not worth saving it in there plus it can be used as an emergency fund if needs be to replace the cab.0

Where's the rolling eye smiliy when you want it.Still at least you'v sorted the ISA's out.£71.93/ £180.000

HI Taxi
Great news on the weight loss, the exam and the early grocery money!
You always seem so well organised - well done on being so up to date.
I hope that you get that sleep cycle sorted soon!

Had an unexpected guest last night.DD1 brought JJ to sleep so always an early rise with him.We didn't have any treats in so we popped to the shops and got a 5 pack of cookies and a milkshake so another £1.49 spent...£11.26/£250.
Managed to sleep from 10pm until 6am (DHs alarm) and then back to sleep until 7am.So am happy with that.
Have washed the pots, put the washing on,folded some washing and fed JJ and we'll be popping out to the bank in a bit.The weather is very wet and cold so won't be doing much with him today. It's like the middle of winter here.
Have checked all the bank accounts and the Isas and savings accounts have all updated overnight.
Hope you all have a good day x0 -
Yippie! to a good night's sleep, and hope you have a good day yourself.£71.93/ £180.000

You too x
Think I best sort this washing out and get the next lot on and get to the bank as I suspect the queues will be massive.Don't know what to give little man for his lunch as we're having leek and potato soup but it's got loads of chillies in so he won't have that. All the stuff in the freezer is frozen meat so won't defrost in time.Just thought I have ham and bread in and a tin of rice pudding in the cupboard..so that's him sorted for lunch. He's going home this afternoon so don't need to make tea for him.he can have fruit if he's hungry this afternoon and cookies.
I'm aiming for a NSD but will be popping in to the discount shop...so you never know.0 -
Morning all,
Am feeling loads better as my sleep pattern seems to be a lot better the last few days.
I haven't done any course work at all the last week so really need to get on with that again.I chose not to as just wanted a clear head and to enjoy myself for a few days.
DD and I did a big shop yesterday at home bargains,Lidl and Aldi and have really stocked up sp shoudn't need too much for the rest of the month so spends so far £97/£250.
I have £95 in my personal spends purse and don't plan on spending much so hopefully that will build up nicely.DH and I both have £40 per week.I'm out in a bit with a friend for coffee as long as she's feeling better today so that will be nice.
Am pleased with myself as haven't had a cig for nearly 8 weeks now.
Am also feeling a lot better since doing pots for various things...
One Isa...I put £160 per month in towards our tax bill
One Isa....I put £75 per week in towards the taxi expenses repairs
One savings account...I put spare bits in to get rid of the mortgage.
I do not have a pot for my car expenses or house insurance and am hoping that I have enough in the current account when those are due.My car is still under a year old so shouldn't need anything anyway except a service but after that's done may open another fund for that.As I've only done these for a short time I may run short but once they have been running at least a year I'll be able to sort the budgets properly.
The parking permits of £20 were due this week so just sent £55 to the car fund.
July and August are the worst months as the pits, tax, servicing, mot and insurance are due on the cab and the tax on my car.0 -
Glad to hear the sleeping pattern has settled down. Nothing beats a good nights sleep.

Had a good day with a friend yesterday and ended up exhausted but managed to stay awake until 11pm and then didn't get up until 10am this morning.I have missed my WWs this morning so don't suppose the leader will be too happy with me.
Haven't got a lot planned for today as need to do some of my course and housework needs doing.DD is off today so she'll help with the housework and DH is cooking dinner so I can rest my achy bones.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.0
