Am typing this whilst sat on my new new sofa.It was delivered this morning along with an envelope containing a cheque for £100 for compensation and a complimentary leather care kit...am so glad to be more comfortable.

DH and I went to subway for lunch as haven't had one of those for ages and we enjoyed it as made a nice change.I used my discount card so price wasn't too bad.

Am in the middle of doing the presentation part of my course and hopefully will finish that next week but have until end of April anyway so no worries.

Haven't heard anything from ESA people whether I need to go for medical (hoping I don't) but am not going to ring to find out. They are best left to their own devices !!!

DD is due her pay on the 10th but seems to think it will be in early which will be great if it is as her board money is my shopping money for the month and it sure has been a long month.

Nothing else happening here but am happy about that as it means no drama

DS3 popped to my house last night with a leg of lamb(due out of date today) and a massive pork loin joint(due out of date 7th) and kindly gave them to me in return for cooking his tea out of them the next few days...seems like a good deal for me and we all get a decent meal.
Haven't been to bed yet but need to go to shops in a bit for bread etc and am going to try and stay awake all day to get back in a sleep routine.

No drama sounds good, but ouch to not having been to sleep at 6.30 in the morning, poor you, Taxi. But its probably really important to find a sleep routine of some sort again, especially now you're retraining - good luck with it :)

    Hello lovely lady,

I've been lurking but not got around to posting til today & you've been on a bit of roller coaster recently. So pleased you have your new sofas though - I'm delighted with mine & as you say, the comfort levels are much improved.

Well done on passing the first bit of the exam & I'm sure you'll do well with the rest of it; apart from being a smart cookie you're a very determined lady :D

Hopefully with the Bank Hol you'll get your money soon - still pretty amazing of you to have managed all month on such a reduced budget :)

Glad to hear you're back on track with the WW too - I've just scoffed an entire cadburys buttons egg - it was my present from DD & to ease the guilt I let her have the buttons inside :D)

    hugs
    xx

On the MSE front I've ordered some free tomato seeds,Tess has got on the Pedigree Joint Care + trial, meat for dinner was/is free for a good few days thanks to DS3 donating me a large leg of lamb and a large pork loin joint...plus I've had £100 compensation and free leather care kit this week so that's a very good week in my eyes...I don't normally even look at the freebies board but glad I did and will make better use of it in the future.

I've nothing exciting planned over the weekend and will probably just go to WWs sat,do some of my course and if the weather is nice I may get out somewhere.Everyone is working so it isn't any different to any other time really.

hope you all have a great Easter x

well done on not taking it lying down about the sofa. ace to get 100pounds for it. As well as the leather care kit too.

I found the freebies board very good for seeds when I was in the UK. Also look at the big online seed sellers as they have offers as well that were pretty good.
