Have you thought about Pilates Tilly? I like it because you do a lot of it lying down and don't sweat and get out of breathe :rotfl:but it is very effective at building core strength :T*
* we do a bit of this
** but not this :j
** and afterwards we do this  but usually with :coffee:. But occasionally
Funnily enough there's a beginner Pilates class starting this week but it's six weeks long and I would miss three classes  I will look out for their next one as I fancied having a go. I love doing weights though - odd I know :rotfl:
Greent - new Fitbit working, now I need to get back into the habit of always wearing it. 7800 steps so far and another shortish walk on the cards once I pick Mr T up
I have done 15 mins of weights today - plus squats, plank, sit ups and wall presses.
What a beautiful sunny day we have had. Non stop catch up chat with a girlfriend and salad for lunch. A girlfriend from Portugal is coming over and staying for a few days and we are off to see The Sixteen - they are an inspirational choir.

Hi Tilly
Treated myself this morning with a catchup on your diary for the last couple of months, back to the first one I ever read. Lovely to hear you are regaining your zip and counce and adventuring between here and Portugal.
:eek:to the mice in your bed ... definitely seem to be more around when it's cold. Someone once told me they can get through a hole the size of a pencil  I'd be tempted to let the cats loose on them, but otherwise agree with what others have said that the sonic ray thingies are quite good.
Also a big fan of Pilates. And once you have a vague idea what you are doing (couple of 1:1 ideal if you can find them) it's a very easy thing to do at home ... either with a DVD or just doing your own little routine, I first did it for rehab years ago which has made me a bit wary of classes, since everyone needs to be doing something a little bit different and it's all in the tiny teeny movements anyway. (Of course you then lose the :coffee:  aspect :rotfl:).
As we've decided that summer must be just around the corner .. any tips for vegs in pots for very restricted outside space? ....

Morning, I'm not sure where this year is going. Nearly March and we are loving the lighter mornings and longer days. It wasn't completely dark last night until around 6 ish.
Great morning yesterday. A morning of prayer, chat and sharing - fab fab fab. I went very tired and only managed one walk but Mr T and I had a good chat about our renovation plans. We have also agreed to bring forward the changes to our UK house and builders will be coming in over the next two weeks for quotes. Whilst we have ummed and aaahhhed about selling, downsizing, staying and letting, we intend keeping the house. I may have posted this before, I can't recall.
Off to see GG this coming weekend, then Portugal in April. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we may have found a place for DD and DS to buy. Just hoping this comes off. Good location, two bed apartment (I would have said flat back in the day, but what do I know :rotfl:
If things come together for DD, then much furniture decluttering can commence. Fortunately DD likes the stuff we have kept for this occasion and will save anyone having to find more cash. It will mean a double bed needs to be purchased. Not too bad if that's the only piece. Let's see. I'm not taking bets
Shopping yesterday came in way higher than I had planned. £52 but that did include tins of beans, pulses. I wasn't going to stock up but got a bit carried away.
Spring is so close now and the birds are chattering. It does the soul good.
Hi Hollyboll, no further signs of mice thank goodness. We are now sporting a stylish range of mouse traps in all appropriate locations

Oh I hope the flat purchase comes to pass, how exciting for the mini-Tillies to start their property journey.
Glad you are feeling better and making plans. Love the tree planting, good for the earth in all senses.
Small mouse issue here as well but they should vacate soon as although it's freezing it is bright and sunny!
P.S. anyone know how to get the smilies working, mine just say the code not show the image, sad face!Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

I am NOT looking at z@@pla or RM any more this week
Blinking home hunting is a nightmare and I don't like it.
Right, I'm stamping my foot and going back downstairs to make a hot milk.
Property visiting tomorrow. I may explode.

Enjoy property visiting. I love doing that. If I was nearer I'd offer to come tooMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

I so wish we were closer, or at least you were closer to DD. I dislike shopping intensely but never realised this applied to houses as well :rotfl:
The one she was after has been taken off the market. I have found one which is an end of terrace, ex council house with large garage. Good location and houses on the whole, seem well cared for. GCH, two bedrooms, upstairs bathroom and kitchen has been recently updated. Garden is ok. She needs to go and see it to check distance on foot, bike or bus to Uni. When she starts working in a few years it is in a good area to let out.
Fingers crossed. The EA are children - I'm at the age where police look really young :rotfl::cool::rotfl:

Me too, as you know :rotfl:
I love looking round houses for some reason, even though I loathe shopping. Very odd. That one sounds wonderful!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
