Although the temperatures here are warm and balmy for this time of year, it's not quite beach weather
Morning, Mr T seems to have brought the rain with him. It's poured down overnight and is still raining now - I don't think I will be hanging any washing on the line today :rotfl:

What a lovely sunny read your diary is. Such a testament to the hard work of paying offMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

Time to check your PM's then dear.

It sounds like you are having a fab time at the moment.
You've had some challenges this year, so you deserve these good times:)Early retired - 18th December 2014

Evening, well what a fantastic day - not a cloud in the sky.
Roast beef and all the trimmings for dinner. DD and I made TK stuffing this morning, it's in a disposable loaf tin and safely tucked away in the freezer. We also made cranberry sauce mmmmmmm.
We are all keeping the house tidy and the candles are lit and the fire roaring - definitely looks cosy.
Gally, you'd think the house was a lovely temperature, whereas I think I'm melting
I've washed a fake fur blanket and dried it on the line - December 21 :T. I probably sound completely barking but this type of thing makes me happy.
It is dark at 5.55pm but you need lamps on from 5.30pm - this makes a vast difference to your day. Same time as the UK but an extra 1.5 hrs of light in the depths of winter. I am sure this will be mood enhancing when we love here - more time to garden.
Right, payday and money shuffled :T. I have tidied all the accounts and planned spending for January is low. I do need to menu plan for January but will do that when we are back in the UK.
Very best wishes from a Happy Tilly Family x x x x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Afternoon, not such an idyllic day - we set off on a walk to the local village, I even remembered my FitBit. We walked for about 40 mins then witnessed a truck driving like a nutter towards us, and smacked straight into a dog. Heartbreaking. Fortunately a friend of ours was at home and drove down, picked me, poorly dog and Mr T up and took us to the vets. The Tilly kids walked back home.
A true Christmas miracle - she hadn't broken anything but was badly knocked about. She was bandaged, given anti inflammatory and antibiotic jabs and put into a kennel to have a good rest. What a very small world though - we managed to track down the local re homing centre, who knew of her and we all ended up at the vets together.
Her owners are struggling financially and haven't repaired their fence, hence she got out. The vet and rescue centre are in touch with the owners. We paid for the treatment, which may not be MSE but none of us could leave her as she was.
We never managed to finish our walk and sadly, I don't think we will fancy doing that for a while. On a happy note, I've laid the table, we have cold meats, jacket potatoes and salad, plus pickles - won't be eating for a while but I would like to eat before our usual (over here) 9pm ish.
Fire is lit, Airplane II on the TV - gotta love catch up TV.
I may just have a glass of g&t by my side, purely to avoid any PTSD issues

Hi Tilly
I couldn't 'read and run' after reading that post. What a horrific thing for you to witness but what a lovely thing for you to do and what a lucky dog it is!
Since I'm posting, can I take the opportunity to wish you & your family a lovely Christmas and even better new year
