Love the DS story and lesson learned about plastic ... so true, imagine how many debt problems would be gone if everyone learned that as a teenager ... Also brilliant he's learned that baking over weekend will save him cash (and be much more delicious :)) ... Perhaps you could add some cakes into his payment plan, along with the vaccuming, to ensure you get a taste too ... :T.

Never too old for date night

And as for insomniacs reading your diary - NEVER! :rotfl::rotfl:

    Have a warm Saturday

  • Hi Apple, I have to say he's done a good job. He's also sat us down to tell us he has a girlfriend :)

Hounds have been walked, cold but gloriously sunny day. I am off for a walky jog in an hour. As the sun will have gone down, I'll be wearing extra layers.

Mr T and DS have emptied a room and Mr T has started decorating.

    Have a good evening all.

  • Meal planning over the weekend for December and January. New lodger is moving in soon.

All in all, things looking good and I will definitely end the year in a far better place physically and mentally than I started this one.

    Best wishes, Tilly x x x

    Tilly,

I hope you are well, you must be so proud of your family. So good that DS has learned a lesson so early, I learned the same lesson at 18 with my first credit card and told my parents about 10 years later in a concersation. My mum asked me why I hadn't told her (I maxed out my credit card of £1000 in 3 weeks) and was surprised when I said I had wanted to deal with it myself as it was my problem. It took me 2 and a half years to pay off while at university but was the start of my MSE journey. You have amazing children x
