  • Excellent, London is a brilliant city to walk around once you get used to what is where :T

How much do C0stco charge per tab? Trying to figure out if it's than our 6.36p + spoon of soda crystals using the L1dl tabs. If so, can have a colleague pick some up, we are doing two loads a day, what with nappies and baby clothes

Just gone and checked the tub - 120 in it, not 240 - I bought two, hence 240 is in my head. On offer they worked out at 8p, so more expensive than L!dl. I've used L!dl washing powders for years but I think the quality/cleaning strength reduced - or my kids were getting their clothes even dirtier :rotfl:

    I'm impressed that you are using real nappies - I'm afraid I didn't :o

    Best wishes Tilly

Hey Tilly, wonderful to catch up, loving the £7k and Ds getting the job. It's such an exciting time for you just now :)

Hi El, it is certainly better now than it was earlier in the year. For the first time I felt a failure and had a wallow. I've pulled myself out of that and certainly have my mind back to normal. I think illness does odd things to you :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about the Blackpool trip but at least it's over and done with now.

    Take it easy Mrs.

  • Aaagggghhhhh the tennis is

We have had a bit of a result. We needed new blinds in the kitchen and breakfast room. I've waited until the sales, bought one at our local JL store and luckily :T we will be having its pair arrive next week. £31 each vs £62 each :T. The windows are fairly wide and I'm delighted with the price.

Cup of tea time I think.

That's a great price Tilly. We had to get custom made blinds when we bought our flat and the price was terrible, even after shopping around. Still, the person who buys the flat from us will get a nice freebie
  • Tea and tennis here too, with diaries while they loll around with towels on their heads. Good cheap fun!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

    Bargainacous blinds!
  • Evening, just had a lovely chat with DD who is away for a month volunteering. The world is so small with wifi, WhatsApp etc.

Long dog walk after the tennis finished and Mr T and DS are cooking dinner.

Lodgers bedroom and bathroom are clean and his bed made. He's such a lovely young chap, we will miss him when he moves out.

I've claimed £120 Beefeater vouchers. We will be using some for dinner the night we sail.

I think its time for a glass of wine.
