Shortly.
On the beach.
With a bottle of cava :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Hi Tilly, what an amazing achievement! What a great feeling. Your hard work and determination has given you so many options.
Am really looking forward to sharing the next part of your journey.Nov 2025 - part 1 - £13,878 part 2 - £20,953 Total - £34,832 24 months to go!0 -
            Morning, what lovely messages - thank you x x x x x
To be quite honest, I think we both feel shell shocked. When I started the diary, interest payments were £45 a day - Yep per day  When we switched to FD they more than halved.
I feel lucky in as much as we have both had decent salaries and the money Mr T received after being made redundant wasn't touched. In fact, we live a very simple life now - this isn't waxing lyrical - we really do.
Savings goals - working on this at the moment. We won't be able to save as much as we OPd, as my salary will reduce. Not until September though, which is in line with first MF month.
Had we not have had the endowment, it would have taken another eighteen months.
Anyway, not there yet, still two months to go.
DS had his interview, which went well. They've called him four times afterwards but he was ironing his kit, and didn't hear the phone :eek: Fingers crossed this means they are interested. They are calling him today
. He's said when he gets a job, he will save 50% each month, move it straight into his savings account as soon as he's paid.
DD is away now and already loving it. Wh@ts App and free wifi are :T as we had a catch up late yesterday.
I'm still having physio, in a fair amount of pain but that's normal apparently. As you do more, you ache more but this will settle down.
The sun is out, Mr T comes home tonight and we could be celebrating.
Have a good day, Tilly x x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

DS ironing? Getting jobs quickly? Saving 50%? You've done well by your kids Tilly. I can't help but think back to a conversation from yesterday with a work colleague whose 19 year old has just bought a £15k new car! :eek:0
