Tilly - I started following you about 18 months ago, took me a few weeks until I got up to date and now check in every couple of days or so. I have learnt so much from your thread and it has been truly inspirational following your ups and downs with you always keeping focussed. Hope you are on the mend & wish you and your family the very best for your new ventures. As you will see I have not made many posts on this site but just had to come on here to say Thank-You.0

Thanks for all your good wishes. It's odd how things have fallen into place over the last few weeks.

It is exciting to think we can make different choices for our future. Mr T is still delighted about being able to retire at 50.
I'm contacting the architect again to try and build some momentum - not always easy with cultural differences.
I started the diary in November 2011 and I'll have to check back but we had planned to be MF in early 2018. Originally it would have been 2033.
We have chopped off around 3 years, but 18 years from the original MF date, had we followed a standard plan. Believe me, I appreciate we have been in a fortunate position of earning good salaries but without the skills we have learnt here - we would still be leaving salary cheque to salary cheque.
Right, DD has gone and I'm going to strip her bed and sort out the chaos left behind
