  • Morning, well we didn't eat outside, too cold but we did have drinks and HM guacamole and ciabatta.

We had a lovely quiet day, sun loungers and cushions, brolly, Pimms and conversation.

Church this morning, dog walking and financials.

In other news, we've booked a weekend to Vienna early December :T

    I hope everyone has a good day, Tilly x x x

Morning, our posts crossed - sadly weather wasn't good enough although Mr T did suggest we could eat, whilst wearing coats :rotfl:

One of my tasks for today - hunt out recipe for smoked garlic. You posting has just reminded me. I bought one bargainous bulb the other day.

    Best wishes Tilly x x

  • Hi Greying, Mr T said exactly the same. Not being able to sit outside in almost July seems madness.

Still raining here but I am contenting myself with the thought that the broad beans, peas and courgettes will be happy.

Vienna! Lovely - I've only ever been when I was a student. It was the first time I ever smelled properly brewed coffee ... loved it ever since :) first opera I ever saw too, at the Volksoper, standing space at the back of the gods :)
2023: the year I get to buy a car
  • No church - Mr T is doing some ironing, then vacuuming and I'm steam mopping downstairs, with tea tree oil liberally sprinkled.

It's poured with rain, hounds have had their walk delayed but we have promised them we will go after we are clean and tidy.

Menu plan for July - not done - can it really be July next week?

Morning SweetDaisy, we have an endowment paying out in July which will clear all bar £13k and that will go via std monthly OPs in June, July and August. It's pretty exciting :j

    Best wishes Tilly x x

Great news :). August is only around the corner so a few exiting months to go.
  • Isn't it great when plans start to come together!
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D
