Morning, happy days - sun is out, sky is blue

£8 OP, 99p Tilly Tidied to MOS.
As it's going to be a scorcher today, dinner will be very simple. Fancy cold meats, coleslaw and bargainous fancy pants bread.
Nearly time for travel insurance renewal, plus I need to book a hotel for DD for one night. I have enough points on a reward card of mine to do that, so no cash :T
Yesterday was great - lunch out with a chum £10, then sitting in her back garden surrounded by flowers, her dogs and cats. One of those moments when you really appreciate the here and now.
I'm picking mum up on Friday and she's staying for a long weekend. Very much looking forward to spoiling her.
Best wishes

Mr T was taking the train from Manchester home and it's not running. He's now on a bus to Stockport - who knows when he'll be home.
He overheard a guy ask a Network Rail person how to get to x, she said, "use the easiest way possible" - that was the sum total of support
Apple, we were too full for dessert but it was delicious when we did eat it
Elanten, am sending :grouphug: sounds like you're in pain.
KC, hope you've had a restful day.

Thanks Tilly, I really am, have spent the day crying and vomiting ... i'm positive It will get better though
Hope Mr T gets home at a decent hour, that must be a pain in the backside for him, sounds like an awful network rail experience as well

That's a coincidence that you are going to Vienna - we were only talking about Vienna earlier.
We were there this time last year on our river cruise. It was only a short visit - an evening and the following day, but I liked what I saw.
I'm sure you'll have a great time.
Hope you are better soon, ElantanEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Morning, Mr t really did, along with 00s of others, have a dreadful journey.
He arrived home hot, bothered and weary. Lovely meal outside though and he slept well. He's been on the phone this morning, returned his tickets to Tr@inline and £85 will wing its way to us shortly.
I'm making burgers for this evening, plus a JO take on two thinish strips of sirloin steak - bargainous item from Mr L. I'll slice them and split between four. Big salad, new potatoes and bargainous rolls.
I've Tilly Tidied 3p to MOS - I need to change our approach to saving. Mucho thinking (just thinking of Gally then).
DS has a job interview and has also offered to volunteer somewhere. Keeping everything crossed. If nothing else, it will be good experience.
Finally, I've booked afternoon tea for mum, DD and me - ladies only
for Sunday.
Right, I'd better crack on.
