Afternoon, all steam mopping (Mr T had already vacuumed) done and the house smells decidedly tea treey - but better than smelling of dog.
Airing cupboard emptied (again), sorted and everything put away.
We are contemplating a trip to !kea to buy a couple of fitted bottom sheets but perhaps not.
My usual social engagement of a trip to the hospital for physio is scheduled for tomorrow.
 Finances done
Looking forward to Vienna already - Mr T has used one of his free nights and then we pay for the other. Odd though as it looks like you can use more, but the system doesn't support it.
It has finally stopped raining and we will head out with the hounds after lunch. Need to bring them in via back gate as my floors are clean !!

Vienna will be lovely Tilly. Mr F and I went for Christmas last year and loved it. Is there a secret MS meet up being planned though? I've just read In Need of Direction is going to Vienna in December too. Don't all go without me now:rotfl:

We had a lovely time yesterday sorting it out. That's the only splurge we are making though - once the mortgage has gone it's saving saving saving.

Morning, pale blue sky, not great but an improvement on grey.
 Mortgage just under £92k :T
Mr T is off shortly and home tomorrow night. At least it means TCB and free hotel nights - every cloud has a silver lining.
HG broad beans, salmon, new potatoes and parsley sauce tonight - my favourite.

I think that the only, and I do mean only, regret that I had in giving up the allotment a few years ago was that we cut off our access to broad beans and raspberries. Autumn sown, aquadulce - yum! They are one veg that you cannot buy comparably in the shops (frozen are ok, but *fresh* - ugh!) and raspberries was as much about the picking them (unusually it was a garden job DP loved!) and eating them a little while later, as it was about the taste Fond memories Fond memories
Have a great day Tilly and chums.

Hi Greying, you must have really enjoyed having an allotment but they must take masses of time - difficult when working etc.
Dinner was delicious and I really do only cook it a couple of times a year, at the beginning of the broad beam season. I'm sure we all enjoy it more as a result.
I'm sitting outside, birds chirping, hounds running around and enjoying the peace.

Busy late afternoon doing battle with a large department store and a ladies fashion line. I bought a top a few months ago, have worn it twice, three times at the most and part of it is unravelling.
Cue various calls, ring backs and we have reached a satisfactory outcome - full refund at non sale price. Will OP when it arrives.
As I wear a lot of their clothes I'm glad I persevered but the old me would definitely have just chucked it in the bin.
I'm testing a Fl@sh cleaning product soon There's that rock and roll lifestyle again :rotfl: There's that rock and roll lifestyle again :rotfl:
 Dinner eaten outside - heaven.

You and me both! Have you done the product testing shenanigans before?
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0

Hi MessyMare, I've done a few product tests - P!neCone and Savvy mainly.
Doesn't take long and it's handy when it's a product you will definitely use. I have to be truthful and say I do everything required but the minimum. Some people go completely over the top - possibly they are more successful in terms of products to test but I'm ok with how I'm doing it.
 Thanks for popping by.

Morning, Mr T's home tonight and mum may be coming for a long weekend. DD returns on Friday night for a few days
3p Tilly Tidied to MOS. My lodger is an absolute joy and the last few months have flown by. He's staying until at least late September early October. May rejig rooms once we know what DS is doing, as a room with an ensuite would be better for a lodger. DS may find he's switched rooms :rotfl:
HFWs Tabula Kisir with chicken and HM bread rolls for this evening. Frozen strawberry yogurt to follow. I'd made the dessert for yesterday but didn't eat it.
Cup of tea already consumed, whilst checking the veggie beds, then sitting in the sun. If only summer in the UK was always like this. Glorious.
Off out to meet a chum for lunch - delightful.
