Morning Tilly,
I've slowly been working my way through your thread and found loads of inspiration, so thanks! I've come across Tilly Tidies, what a great idea, I shall be implementing that from this evening.
I also now really want coleslaw..

Morning, delightful grey June day
Thanks for your lovely posts
. It really has been a year of two halves :rotfl: I am definitely in the better half now.
On a money front our annual travel insurance is due, plus DDs. I've had to cancel gym membership as it's going to take months before I can use weights again. At that point I'll join again.
I've claimed £10.63 from TCB and will OP as soon as it arrives. I've claimed £120 vouchers from work which were a thank you from months ago. Plus, I'm calling about my work shares to have my details changed to personal email etc. I'm also contacting my work pension today to check latest figures for retirement.
All in all a good start to the week. All the washing is done and I'll iron today. I need to take ham out of freezer, will make pie this afternoon.
Right, I'd better go, I'm driving Mr T to the station.
Have a good day.

Morning, good start to the morning, I've claimed another £30 from TCB

Another grey June day - however, yesterday ended with a glorious blue sky, warm and I sat outside watching the hounds play.
Jobs for today - pay cheque into the bank. Make scones. A little ironing and change our bedding.
Reminder to sort travel insurance, canx gym and walk.
Mr T comes home tonight, DS is out tonight and he goes away for the weekend. Mr T and I can have a weekend doing entirely whatever we like. Now we just need to decide what.
Very best wishes, Tilly x x x

Hi TattyCath, lovely to *see* you. It's been a hard slog this year, to recover and believe me, I'm delighted to be back to normal

Morning, TCB £30 arrived and has been OPd, plus a further £2.43 claimed. Lodger money arrives tomorrow and that will head the same way.
It's a big difference to change from a spender to a saver and I'm loving it. I can see that we spent money before as we were so time poor, and basically Knackered. Easier to eat out and book a holiday as it saved time and gave us something to look forward to. I am SO glad our lives changed.
Mr T and I had a lovely evening last night. I'm dropping DS off at 6.30pm on Friday and then our weekend starts. We are definitely taking the dogs for a very long walk. We want time to talk without interruption.
I've sorted out one drawer in the filing cabinet. As a result we have massive pile of stuff to burn.
I'm sending money to Portugal due to the £ being so high - that's given us our entertainment money for our holiday.
I gave our salad bed a good sort yesterday. It has been so productive and I've now cleared a space and reseeded. We are eating purple sprouting, broad beans and peas won't be long. I truly LOVE popping out and picking things to have with dinner. Only slight downer, coriander has been atrocious and I've never had a problem with it before.
Anyway, I'm late for my morning cuppa, so will head outside and get started.
