congrats on the milestone! And lovely teenagers :) Hope you are feeling much better today
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

£10.50 OPd this morning. 5p Tilly Tidied to MOS.

I offered the junior Tilly family the choice of rib eye steak or HM pizza for dinner. HM pizza it is :):)

I planted more peas yesterday. Potatoes doing well, broad beans full of flowers and smell great. Strawberries are still green but plenty of them :)

I'm sitting looking at the rain and I'm sure the veg are loving it.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

It is good to hear that 'things are going the right way' after another hospital visit. Will you need to wear a straight jacket at night to prevent further problems?

We share your rain and also have happy greenery.

Do take it easy and enjoy being looked after by the clan xx

  • Hi AppleMuncher, yep straight jacket is required :rotfl:

I've done booger all today  I've had a little nap, spoken to OH people from work. I'm starting a phased return to work late June and they're managing this.

Weather has been awful for people but great for grass, it's zinging with colour.

I'm going to pick some rocket, mixed leaves and chives to make a salad to go with the pizza this evening. I have a few frozen strawberries to use up - Pimms anyone?

Food shopping this weekend does not require bread given my bargainous Mr M run. I am going to cook belly pork on Sunday night - JO chilli rubbed one but need to hunt down the recipe.

I saw a recipe today for fish frittata pie - looked very tasty and I've got dill in the garden. I also have some cream to use up so that's Saturday night sorted.

We are updating the spending diary early tomorrow and walking the hounds. I'm M looking forward to seeing them off their leads and doing Happy Feet.

Right, cup of tea is calling me.

I hope when you say 'pimms' Tilly that you mean 'Jeeves' from L!dl.....

Popping in from Lurkdom to say well done on breaking the £100k and also, I hope you are feeling a little better every day. You talked about being held up as inspirational a few days ago and I wanted to say that yes, you are and I think it's because you are so determined but that you acknowledge the frustrations you have for not coming to this sooner. You give us something to aspire to, so thank you.

On a personal note, DH is two months into his new job so for the first time in nearly two years, we have more than we need coming in! Lots of debt to shift but unable to make it 0% yet but we'll get there one day.

Back to Lurkdom and my £3.99 l!dl baileys......:rotfl::rotfl:
