Morning MollyMischief, what a lovely post, thank you
. I'll admit to it being real Pimms - it was a gift :rotfl: DD drinks the Ald! one but I haven't tried the L!dl one yet - I'm off there in 30 mins though :j
You must both be delighted about payday - good luck with your planning.
What I am doing is educating the junior Tilly clan, and I'm proud of this. DD has her S&S ISA and pays in monthly. She's also looking at new bank accounts to see what gives her the best return - introduction cash/interest etc. That's her job for this morning funnily enough.
DS is applying for part time jobs now he's 16 - good to see him looking and wanting to work. He's making sure he can cycle to work to be independent.
Do pop by and post, I'll look you up and see if your have a diary somewhere.

Your children will definitely reap the rewards of your influence and financial advice. What a great way to start out on life.
S&S isa has been on my 'to do' list for a while. If a teenager can do it though I think I should be able to work it out and take the plunge!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -

I love the sound of your DS wanting to cycle to any job he gets - good for him. I remember both my brother and my sister driving their kids to similar jobs while studying, even tho there was often a bus
Have a lovely weekend

Will message you from my new phone. Reminder to me, do the same with Brizzle.
We were joyous to be sub £100k - it has been such a large mortgage and now I'd call it 'normal'

Thanks for dropping by
. She has two accounts with Virg!n but not a monthly saver with them. I'll suggest she does some research.

Have you started your research? I did have to keep reminding her to do it. What swung it, was me giving her a few scenarios - £500 per month for 15 years using various % - she was shocked to see what could be gained from fairly conservative rates.
Good luck, Tilly x x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Morning, I've OPd £90 and have been contacted about taking language students on a regular basis. Could be worthwhile although we love having the house back come Friday.
Off to church this morning - will add Mr Alchemilla to our prayers.
Joint of pork ready to cover with a spicy rub. I have cream to use up - potato dauphinois anyone?
Receipts will be done today, plus an updated list of tasks for the week. Yesterday's shopping was slightly over £30 :T.
Loving the salad leaves.
