I need to stop buying loo rolls  we seem to get through loads and I've been getting Co-op £1 off £5 shop vouchers which I've been using to buy 2 x 9 roll packs @ £3.50 each but 2 for £6 plus £1 off so 2 for £5 which isnae bad.

Have now run out of space to store them so need to stop! :cool:Sorry that's probably TMI :o
  • Morning, I need to get sorted as I will be at the gym for 7am

Thanks for all your posts will catch up over the weekend. I'm not sure where this week has gone.

Trip to C@scto done and house full of loo rolls :)

Work was challenging yesterday and I finished at 11pm. Thankfully that doesn't happen very often.

    I'd better jump up.

  • Evening, just waiting for Mr T to get ready and then we're off to the theatre.

Mr T is decorating tomorrow and DS will move in to his new room on Sunday night.

Gym was HARD and it was a struggle getting up but I enjoyed it once there. Schedule updated with sessions I've booked into along with home diary.

I am so looking forward to tomorrow morning. No 5am get ups to take DD to work. Mr T and I shared them and we are both looking forward to a lie in.

Hounds are walked and seemed decidedly happy - I love the way their tails flick, and I'm sure they smile, when they race along :)

I've stashed some additional cash into savings today as Mr T was paid. From October payday we are living on one salary again to save in the offset.

Dinner tomorrow night is L!dl rib eye steak, with jacket potato and salad. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

I think I'd better shout Mr T, otherwise we will be late

Just catching up.. hope you enjoyed the theatre! :D

DD sounds settled, and not too far away which must be nice.

Our heating's kicked in the last few mornings so the nights are definitely going into autumn even if the days aren't.. it was beautiful today, hope you all had gorgeous weather too.

Glad to hear DD dropping off went ok :) xx A new page has turned - how exciting! :)

We need loo rolls too - I can't believe how quickly we seem to be getting through them!

Heating still off here and no immediate plans. It is cooler on a morning and evening, but not bad enough that I'm wearing socks or slippers yet, so no heating! We've been v lucky with our weather here at the mo, and I've still been wearing 3/4 length trousers and vest tops in the main - and all washing has been line dried:j

    xx

Coal being used on the woodburner stove here. We've still to actually make the wood pile into logs (leaving it a bit late I fear).
Anyway just posting really to say how in awe I am of your DD. Handing over her room, planning a beef stew, just so very impressive. You've raised a star there Tilly. Well done :)
She's really surprised us - she hadn't used the SC before but seems to be doing well. She's asked if I have any lentils going spare :)

Theatre was fab and much laughter was had. Mr T and I stood outside during the interval to have a drink. It was still 15 degrees and given its almost October we were surprised :)

Loo rolls purchased. Humongous amount and I'm glad I have a large garage :rotfl:

It's been great to get all the washing dried on the line. Yesterday was glorious, a light wind and the washing dried quickly. I have some ironing to catch up on though

DS asked when the heating was going on - again - said whilst wearing a T shirt and shorts :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Best wishes to all, Tilly x

Nooooo - it can't be heating time yet. I'm hanging on to Summer for as long as I can... although a bit of frost might be the saving for my pak choi.

Me too - it seems a long old time until Spring :o
I need loo rolls, it's shocking how many we get through. Started buying cheaper ones for the main bathroom as I think dd2 uses a roll a wee. ..
I think the same about DS. I'm not sure what he does with them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Autumn is biting but I'm hoping for a beautiful October.

  • Morning, I think someone's out a rocket up my 'jacksey' this morning.

Washing sorted, first load on, next waiting.
Airing cupboard emptied and everything put away.
Beef flank casserole in the SC - bit tricky as we opened a bottle of red and we haven't had a drink since we came back from our hols, and were abstaining until end November. May have to have a glass of red tonight, can't let it go to waste :D
Tomatoes, garlic, oil ready to roast and then portion and freeze.
    Our bedroom tidied.
DW emptied and loaded, kitchen work surfaces cleaned.
    Toast and tea consumed.

Mr T, DS and I have been on a roll.

I'd better jump into the shower and get going.

I'm in one of those moods where I CBA and thought I'd better kick myself into action. Being MF is at the forefront of my mind at the moment :). DS asked for something the other day - certainly not a need and barely a want - 'that is a week of mortgage interest' went through my mind. Certainly focuses the spending. Deep pockets :)

  • Morning Tilly - you have been busy this morning :T

Master Tilly needs further training - CH in September, excessive loo roll use and now unnecessary stuff :naughty: :rotfl:

Yes it's great to focus on this kind of 'unit'..I can remember when our mortgage interest per day was £11 and it helped me say no, think about else I could do with £11 etc etc..I am with you on getting MF..we have been talking about a big holiday in 2016 as a family. DD1 pipes up around saving money this year and next to make sure we can do it....as well as coming up with some ideas of how to...am liking her thinking! :D
