I've finally got back into the habit of doing TTs every day so lots of bits going across to the mortgage. Also transferring £1 per day on the 1st of the month so £28 going across tomorrow, which I've set up on my online banking. It's amazing how all those bits add up isn't it?

. A little really does go a long way, so a ramekin dish, with the salad at the bottom, the yoghurt on top and sprinkled with cardamom seeds will be fab. Mr T is also making a cinnamon creme brûl!e to match the Moroccan theme.
I reckon I've average about £180 per year doing TTs. I know others do more but regardless, that's £180 I don't have to pay interest on :TI've finally got back into the habit of doing TTs every day so lots of bits going across to the mortgage. It is really quick to make - I debate with myself whether the dried lime is worth it, but it definitely gives it a lovely flavour.Pearla*Merle wrote: »The winter fruit salad sounds utterly delicious... and I have all those things lurking in the cupboard and was only this morning thinking what on earth I could do with them (hooray!) :j Thank you!

Good morning, glorious sky this morning - best enjoy it before the next wave of rain arrives
Slightly spendy day planned as we're feeding quite a few people today and cooking a variety of dishes. I've budgeted £40 for all the food, for 12 people - 3410 WR chickens, L!dl stewing beef etc - we've used the same ingredients previously and it works well. However the budget only covers actual purchases not stuff from stock.
A morning of preparing and cooking awaits so I'd better get a move on
I'm following MWC monthly resolutions/goals and am aiming to walk 4 miles per day. I used to do way more but unable to in January. If I achieve this each day, I'll hit 112 miles walked in February.
Also going to continue 'no alcohol' in February.
I've never given myself a target for NSD but once I've done the shopping, I really do my utmost not to go into a shop for anything. We've cut our spends down pretty well and don't waste money on anything IMO.
:T sun is shining :T
You G survey yesterday and I have a couple of free beauty treatments from them as well. I'm booking manicures. Plus I've contacted the local college and have booked a deluxe pedicure for £10 for end February :T. I've set myself a challenge though to save/find the money for it, rather than withdrawing it from the bank. Fingers crossed.
Have a fab weekend.

Hi Tilly
Long time no speak.
I hope your meal goes well today. I am sure it will be lovely
It is so bright today. I think it has been raining so long I had forgotten what the sunshine was like.
Take Care

What a lovely lovely day. Shopping complete (L!dl and WR), S&S complete, 7 different dishes made for dinner this evening - kitchen smells fab.
I feel pretty blessed to have a cupboard full of spices, pulses etc.
Dogs walked but boy it was wet. Glorious sun and the stream has certainly turned into a river. Today was a little like an advert for good living in the park - joggers, cyclists, horse/riders, lots of dog walkers, bird watchers.
Mum will be back down in a couple of weeks, she's currently having a little holiday with her remaining sibling. It will do them both good.
I think that's all for now. I'm off to have a soak in the bath and read my free coy of Good Food. It was from either Grabbit or the mag thread way back in November or December. I'd quite given up on it arriving and it pitched up this morning :T
