  • Hi Brizzle, I'm loving pomegranate molasses too :rotfl:

I've had 2 days off dry Jan/Feb but back on the wagon.

Have a good week, Tilly x

Thanks for the warm welcome Tilly :hello:

I am always so impressed by the adventuresome cooking on this thread..... when I was OPing every possible penny on my last house my cooking degenerated to the meagrest of meals and I haven't managed to break the habit while I am renting a dollshouse.... gave away most of my cooking equipment (such as it was - I've never done much savoury-wise, though I do love a good pud !!) to a couple setting up home so I wouldn't have to store it, and now we are getting by on makeshift meals most days. There is definitely room for improvement here, even when needing to shift fat pounds at the same time as saving financial ones....

Have just had an offer for a very modest but potentially MF house refused as it is going to best and final offers, so maybe today isn't the day to give up the comfort cakes..... :(

  • Morning GreenInkPen, sorry to hear your house news, its frustrating to low out. Good luck with your continued hunt.

Cooking is a hobby rather than just feeding us - I'd be lost if I had to get rid of my kitchen stuff :(. Sending more luck for the lbs as well. Mr T and I are going to SW from next week :o

    Best wishes Tilly x

    Morning,

    Glorious sky today :T

2.5 weeks until payday. I have a goal (dream, aspiration, aim) to build a float of £1k in our current account then forget its there. Will still offset.

Now FD have introduced their security key fob, I'm not checking my bank account each morning. Need to sort this as my Tilly Tidies still need to take place.

Spending diary up to date. We had two receipts which we missed, but they're now complete.

Received another project from S&S which should mean an extra £10 each 9 weeks. OK not a lot, but still £10 up.

I still haven't claimed S&S or CP and need to sort this. I'll claim right now then it's done.

    Bye, Tilly x

Just checked rewards and will claim next week as I'll have £100 due :):):)

leaden sky here and raining :(

just taken delivery of the homebrew book and it is lovely in case you were thinking of getting it - a really attractive and informative read and certainly well worth a fiver for a lovely present.....

am currently assessing storecupboard and finances with a view to what our full and final offer would be on our potential new home.... our aim is to be MF but whether or not that is achieveable with this next purchase remains to be seen - definitely need more porridge and lentils that's for sure !!
