Have had a fab day. Hounds walked, superb cookery course, feel extremely grateful to have a loving husband.
Money - well no news on that front, apart from 99p TT moved to MOS.
Looking forward to church tomorrow and then taking DD to buy a suit - only seems the other day he was born and now he's taller than me and I'm 5'9".
Getting close to next menu planning session and am going to use Casa Moro http://www.amazon.co.uk/Casa-Moro-Second-Cookbook-Samantha/dp/B00C6OOL8U/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1390086055&sr=1-3&keywords=casa+moro+cookbook

Great to hear there's lots of activity on the job front for Mr T. He sounds a great guy and any employer would be lucky to have him. Finger crossed!

Morning Kirsty, middle eastern cookery and really worth doing. We learnt a lot about spice mixing which will be useful for various cookery styles as well

Gosh - that sounds right up my street Tilly. How fascinating. I see you're looking to cook from the Casa Moro cookbook - I think it is the turla turla recipe out of that book (Edit - nope it isn't from Casa Moro - it is from Moro the cookbook, which I think was their first one ) that I like making - you lightly crush the coriander seeds and they just explode flavour as you bite in. Jaymee O's 'Stracci' recipe uses seeds in the same way - yum!
Hope you have a good day.

The cookery course sounds great Tilly. Glad you enjoyed it.
Would love to do something like that - in the meantime I am going immerse myself in cookbooks and try to figure out what we are eating next month.

I don't have the first book but really enjoy the Casa Moro one - for some reason though I use it more in the summer. I've always bought Ras el Hanout and Harissa in the past but never realised how easy they were to make. Will be giving them ago. Plus Zaatar which I use a lot.
Mr T has already put a spice grinder on his birthday present list :rotfl:
I love the way you upload pics of food - I struggle to get Mr T and DS to eat veggie meals - I do manage twice a week but certainly DD and I could easily become vegetarian.
I'll have a g@@gle for the turla turla recipe as well.
