Hi ShalaMoo, I laughed when I read about your friend, thats the sort for thing that would happen to me.
I think all of our weeks are so busy and there's always more stuff to fit in - anyway, keeps us out of the shops :j
Have a good week and good luck with Orange - I really wasn't impressed with their customer service, but I know others have received better service

Evening, well I've had fun this evening - I have written 3 long posts on my ipad and just before loading, every time I lost the lot. Does anyone else have any problems using an ipad or am I just having a frustrating night?
All ready for the week, menus planned, Monday/Tuesday meals cooked in readiness for two busy days, Wednesday/Thursday in the freezer and Friday will be a store cupboard extravaganza.
Busy work week coming up, plus kids have quite a few activities and revision also. Lodgers money will hit the bank tomorrow morning, so I can switch a few bits around. Not long to go now before we move to FD.
I hope everyone has a good MFW week and that the possible bad weather doesnt materialise. I am in the office a couple of days, have a possible dinner with work one night and want to make sure DH and I can get out for a run together. I still can't say I am enjoying but like I have said before, I do miss it if I can't fit it in, so I guess that's positive.
On a health front, I really feel good at the moment. My mind feels clearer, no prevarication which helps and financials under control. Just counting down the weeks.
Best wishes and have a good week.

I lost my post yesterday, it was a server problem, I don't have an iPad.
It might be worth copying the text every time before you submit your post; then if it disappears you can paste the text in quick reply.Pots: House £6966/£7100, Rainy day Complete, [STRIKE]Sunny day £0/£700[/STRIKE], IVF £2523/£2523, Car up-keep £135/£135, New car £5000/£5000, Holiday £1000/£1000, MFW #16 £2077/£3120

Hi Tilly
I don't have an ipad as we figured with 2 Mac laptops and 1 desktop - plus 2 iphones, we're covered, but as a longtime Mac user, it sounds like teething problems. They often have glitches with new hardware/software and various patches/updates become available once people have reported the problems.
I am by no means a technical bod - merely a user, it's very much a tool for me - but much as I love apple products, it does sound like a familiar problem.
I agree with Peonie, I'd just keep copying your text to prevent your blood pressure from rising unnecessarily!1 -
My posts disappear from my iPad sometimes. Really annoying!Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D1 -
A test to see whether this works. Writing in notes on iPad and will then copy across. Am hoping MacG is right, and when some system updates come through the problem is fixed - it frustrating to type a long post and then lose it - and when the happens a few times on a row, then yes, the blood pressure goes a tad high.
Lodgers money in and switched, couple of payments in from people owing us money, TCB payout ready so voucher requested.
NSD today and no spends tomorrow either.
Hope everyone has had a good start to their weeks - this one seems to have started off more slowly than last week, so I am hoping it continues in the same vein.

I was glad DH had advised them that he was taping the call and it must have made entertaining listening - it really was appalling service. However line seem stable and they are ringing daily with updates.
On the phone front, I need to get back to Katsu on the phone stuff also, and before that do need to price it up.
Well done on the BT annual line rental, it's amazing that these little things add up the way they do - I feel like I am discovering a new world with MSE.
Have a great week, and I know there was something else I was going to say to you but I have completely forgotten! What does that say about me - no, don't answer that.
Night, Tilly x
You're so right Tilly, it's odd isn't it that we all experience these sorts of things from an array of companies yet none of us would say we have friends and aquaintances that we know who would behave like that but I guess statisically we must personally know some people who provide this level of service :rotfl:
Lol re forgetting what you were going to say, it happens to all of us, it may come back to you but it certainly says nothing more about you other than you are a busy ladyTilly_MFW_in_6_YRS wrote: »Evening, well I've had fun this evening - I have written 3 long posts on my ipad and just before loading, every time I lost the lot. Billy is the only other person who uses an Ipad but I think he gave it up for posting here as he found it too cumbersome. I can see others on here have recommended copying your text before you post, I was going to recommend the same as I sometimes do that if I'm doing what I consider to be a big or detailed post. Ironically I was signed in here and had just clicked to reply to you when the system kicked me out back to the log on screen; I'm finding that's
happening a lot on here at the mo but I know they are making a number of IT changes. Hve you read the posts in other places with people screaming blue murder about the changes? It certainly seems to be driving them mad but I must confess I can't quite understand what the problem is?
Well done on keeping up with the fit and healthy stuff, I was laughing at work with someone today about exercise being dangerous, they have just started a fitness kick and proceeded to badly sprain their ankleMFW Start Date 1.4.08. Updated 23.1.18. MFW date 1.8.18

When I said yesterday I had a calm day, boy did that change. I ended up on late night calls and then have had a very frustrating day.
Anyway, back to the important things.
Firstly, thanks for dropping in ATT, where do the weeks go? On the service point, I do believe when people take pride in their role and can see the difference they make, it makes for a far more dynamic workforce. Sorry, almost hopped into work mode, must drag myself back. It also indicates that BT have a real problem with knowledge management, staff retention and process flows. However, as an end user, the Internet is still reasonably stable - not perfect but massively improved.
I tend not to wander too far on the boards, as some of them seemed unbelievably aggressive which is too much for me after a day of battling. I have found the site less robust but haven't minded the changes on the whole. I guess my needs are simple though. I just need to keep my brain focussed on the money saving..........
Just reminded me though, quite often when I check my subscribed threads it shows the previous days until I refresh again, even if I have just been on to a diary and reverted to my subs list. That is unusual.
On the keeping fit front, I have had a great run at lunch time and then exercised tonight. I am feeling massively better and will not be weighing myself. !When one skirt swivels on me, then I am good.
Hope your low/non spends continue this week, and I feel quite envious of your Eurostar trip. DH and I plan on more trips like that when the kids are just that bit older. About a year I think. !Can't wait but the way time flies, I will turn round and it's here already.
