Apologies to all for my liberal sprinkling of !!! It is due to writing my post on notes on iPad and then copying it across - went totally pear shaped.
Oh well.
No money updates until tomorrow when another few switches take place, then it's February and only 1 more payment before we switch :j:j:j:j:j

Hi Tilly,
You've caught Tom Peters syndrome. I had to give up on the second of his books as I'm sure one of the chapters consisted solely of exclamation marks!(!!!!!!) For all his faults though, I have to give him credit for never (to my knowledge anyway) resorting to rapey pacmen!(!!!!!)
I feel your pain with the iPad. For all the things it does very well, typing emails and responses is just not one of them. I've been trying to speech to text apps to save a bit of time but they are all so far proving to be particularly resistent to a Scottish accent...
Cheers,

Billy i think you should e-mail the Scots to English app as a suggested manifesto pledge to Alex Salmond, that would give him more mythical jobs to create come independence, now remind me where was silicone glen meant to be??Weight: need to lose 71lbs - lost to date 0lbs

Morning PWD,
I'm back to not touching Politics! I was in a board meeting at Charity number 1 and made a tiny joke about independance never working only to find out that I shared the room with two SNP councillors!(!!!!)
I'm going back to my original and best "all politicians and political parties are self-serving sycophants and anyone who decides to swallow any of the brochures is an idiot".

I had a programme for this years ago. Useless, until I lost my temper and said 'for f........'s sake you stupid b........ thing' - it always got that right :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi Gally,
The only time that's ever worked for me was on one of those interminable banking phone systems which make you say the department that you're looking for. A tirade (following a couple of minutes of attempting "customer services") not dissimilar to your own got me straight through to customer services. Either the system was very slow in accepting my original dozen requests or it's very well programmed to listen out for certain words which help the raging caller jumpt the queue.
Cheers,

Hi everyone, just catching up in a gap - you have all made me laugh reading this.
Billy, I can just see you at the charity meeting and putting your hoof in it - that's so like me.
GG, i roared when I read your post, as I say that often and now have to remember that I am in the office more these days.
Can anyone else believe it is nearly cob Wednesday? However, I have spent pretty much the whole day thinking it was Thursday:rotfl:
In the countdown to ridding ourselves of the Spanish bank, last payment goes out on 28th and then we switch. I promise my posts will cover more interesting topics after we move, but right know it is consuming my brain.
Menu plan needs rejigging and I need to redo freezer list - both jobs scheduled for Friday.
Have a good evening all - I am off to a delightful business dinner so fingers crossed it finishes early ish.

Enjoy the dinner - at least you don't have to plan it and cook it! Hope now it's Feb you are back on the vino and can enjoy a few glasses this evening
As for iPad probs - you should all report any problems to Apple, as the more people do, the quicker they'll send the update.1
