  • Very best wishes with your endeavours and I very much believe that having your mum with you is the right thing. I would do it for mine, and very much hope my children would do it for me! X
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

How's the no chocolate going ?

Are you totally no chocolate or just no milk or white or dark etc ?

The no sugar is worth a try if you think you can :)
  • Morning, back from a little absence. A little health incident in the family has kept me away from the diaries and there's SO MUCH to catch up on :)

Mr T and DS went shopping this morning and fruit, veg, milk came to just over £11. Mr T is doing an online dog food order and I have the money in the animal savings pot.

Elantan - no chocolate or sweets of any kind. I haven't had any since the 29th :T

No alcohol since the 29th either :T

Menu plan is focussed on using up freezer and larder contents :)

Mortgage is now £187k. Will update signature.

Secret Squirrel, it's been lovely seeing mum with her grandchildren every day and there's been much discussion about types of cooking and how she made meals go further.

A belated Happy New Year to all.

    Tilly x
