  • Morning, :xmassign: to everyone who passes by my diary. I am SO looking forward to today and miraculously it doesn't seem to be raining.

We lit the last candle of advent yesterday and took a moment to remember lost relatives - I don't have many left so they'd better hang on a while longer . Dining room looks very festive and I've put votives (I think that's the right word) on the table ready to light the candles.

I'm off to do the ironing and Mr T has taken DD to work. I have lost something fairly important but at least replaceable - will be asking St Anthony to help out shortly. So frustrating when it feels like it's t the back of your mind but can't quite grab it :(

After that it's the BS for the kids :). Then back home to make lemon curd, thank you MWC.

    NSD :T:T:T

Tomorrow's shopping will be salad, elderflower cordial, pork pie, grapes.

Have a great Christmas Eve Eve

    Is it hard to make?

I'd also be interested to find out the answer to that, we don't drink G&T here!

Hiya, it's really easy to make. This is the same recipe as in her books and the only thing I'd say is you do need to keep stirring.

Tastes MASSES better than anything I've ever bought in a jar - including expensive ones.

  • I'm going to have to give that a go as well, sounds delicious, thank you! :) Ed & SF, we'll have to start up an MSE WI guild and get curd comparing :rotfl:

  • Morning, yesterday wasn't a NSD in the end but I did grab some bargains thanks to DD.

A bit of work on the cards this morning and then dessert making during the afternoon.

Mr T has received his DwP payment and that's now moved to MOS.

TCB payment of £50.70 has arrived and moved to MOS.

PC survey arrived, last CP telecom survey completed and heading towards £40. Once I've hit £40 I will claim. S&S will hit £30 from this weeks shopping. I'll be claiming restaurant vouchers to use for the night we leave for summer vacation.

Sending positive vibes to all those suffering due to the weather.

    Best wishes, Tilly x

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
