Tills, 2014 IS the year of Mr T ;) (2013 always did have that rubbish 'ring' to it)

    February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
    MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D
    C'mon nattypants:cool:
  • Hi Tilly

I'm certain it will all happen for Mr T. Sending positive vibes.

  • Morning, and Mr T has just been given lots of financial instructions by DS - he's off out after school with mates for lunch. Lovely to see him like this :T

    Payday :j:j:j

I'm definitely missing the shuffles but bank account looking good and life continues.

Am SO excited today - looking forward to wrapping, shopping list writing. I took the gammon out of the freezer last night - it's a biggie. Couple of days to thaw, a day to sit in Nigella marinady stuff and then cooking on Monday :T.

Turkey and pork for Boxing Day, beef for Christmas Day. I forgot to put in last night's post that I popped into MrS, as DS wanted to buy a friend a card - aah, young love. I bought a walnut loaf and a doughnut style loaf at bargainous prices and bagged and threw into the freezer :T. That's the posh bread for cold meats sorted.

Two YouGov surveys in overnight - those are next on the list. After that it's dog walking time.

I am definitely feeling more upbeat again :xmassmile

    Have a Good Friday

  • Glad you're feeling more upbeat Tilly, you are a star and your Tilly Tidies are becoming the stuff of legend:T - i read on another diary one poster trying to explain TTs to another poster, so well done:money:.

  • Other job to do today - empty freezer, sort and update inventory - hopefully that will allow me to do 'tactical bargainous' shopping - I'd rather know I need to stock up on something in particular.

I did our freezer yesterday, just need to check the cupboards and then my shopping list will be ready.

  • What a lovely day - upstairs cleaned from top to bottom; mum's bedroom is ready for her arrival; gifts all wrapped; windows cleaned upstairs.

Off to write shopping list, have lunch, pop to the shops. Then walk the hounds with DD and Mr T. After that a leisurely soak in the bath and then off to dinner with chums.

Working like a nutter really makes me appreciate a day off :)

    Best wishes Tilly x

  • Good morning, lovely night out last night. Food was gorgeous - I'm going to do some g@@gling and grab the recipes.

My eyes were definitely bigger than my tum though - will need a huge walk today.

DD has a user name on MSE now and is actively reading OS and student stuff. I am pretty delighted as this site has been a life saver. I wonder whether she will open a diary - saving maybe as yesterday she told me she was a tight wad and didn't like spending her money :T

    List as reminder:
    shopping
    !kea
    Charity drop off
    Walk the hounds
Sort freezer as no time yesterday
    Check on vouchers and points
    Polish dining/sitting room

Money stuff - claimed £50.70 from TCB. 29p TT to MoS

Tomorrow afternoon I'll be planning January's menu. To use leftovers up, I'm going to make dishes and freeze them.

We are heading to London for New Year's eve. However we are eating first, then taking a flask of hot chocolate, one of coffee and nibbles for whilst we are waiting. Seems like a good compromise and we still get the fun and atmosphere. Underground trains are free to get out of town after the fireworks.

Out to a party tonight and I want to finish all the jobs and have a bath, then paint my nails.

Have a fab day, Tilly x
