  • Hi Tilly, hope you all enjoy the volunteering

Hope your . is feeling a bit better now too?

What a horrible day it is here, today and to-morrow are forecast to be the worst in terms of minus temperatures, mind you we did have about 20 mins of heavy snow a couple of days ago

It's actually been quite mild here today - I need to check the forecast for the coming week :(. I am feeling OK but mum is pretty under the weather at the moment. Although I heard the birds twittering this morning and it was beautiful :):)

    Take care.

We do a few things but today we were looking after a new wood which has been planted. Collect the rubbish, check on the saplings, gates etc. it's quite beautiful and the dogs have a lot of fun :)

It is shocking to see the stuff people chuck away whilst out walking and I find it disappointing that people behave in this way :(

  • Your food sounds delicious:drool:

I have also been trying to prepare DS for the big, bad world although he has announced he'll just stay with me forever:eek: he is very hopeless but doesn't get out of it that way as I'm hoping he'll improve with practise:rotfl::rotfl:and if he ever moves out hell shall freeze over before I go round to clean his house:D

He'll be inviting you for dinner in no time :rotfl:

Seriously the only way for them to learn is to do - being shown is one thing - doing is another :). I really am shocked by the stories the kids tell me when they come back from various camps. I do feel strongly, that kids have to understand how to stand on their own two feet and become socially and personally able/capable.

I wonder though SS, whether we will want to start cleaning when they leave though :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi Peonie, sadly the journey is much slower now until Mr T is gainfully employed again but it's lovely to see it under £200k and I can't wait for it to be £189,950 - I may be doing a few :j
