  • Hi MWC, I certainly did. I wanted a plan just in case we decide to downsize and become MF straight away. Unlikely to do it, as it's in our interests to clear the mortgage completely :)

Plus when my salary hits the bank this week I'm going to make an OP to get us under £190k :):)

Hope all is well with you

Hi Tilly, I don't know if pure gym has negotiable fees but my friend and I are about to join our local la fitness and online their best price was £36 pm (on offer , usually £46) and when we rang they offered us £22 pm if we join as a pair. It's their quietest time of year at the moment so it might be worth seeing if they do any better deals.
    MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁
  • Morning, thanks NewGirly always worth having a go :)

Sounds like your home improvements are almost finished now :)

    Best wishes Tilly

Morning, 71p TT moved to MOS

May have overslept this morning

Kids are out tonight and Mr T and I will be getting the financials up to date. Although we also have free tickets for the cinema so who knows what will happen.

Sweet and sour chicken this evening. MRN see you at 7 :D

Looks like we will switch to a different provider for energy and it will save us money. Plus they only have two tariffs to choose from. Clear charges and a delight to deal with. Finally if you are in credit they pay you 3%. I'll be searching the web for company feedback and will check a switching site before making a decision.

Have a good day - middle of the week, soon be Friday :T

Happy hump day to you too :j.

    Hi Tilly.

Can thoroughly recommend the energy company you are referring to. Have been with them just over a year and have just renewed for another year. Very friendly and professional. `Interest` credited as a `pre-payment` to your account each month without any problems.

    Happy Wednesday

Hi Tilly, I think I know the one you mean and have a family member with them. They love them and put a payment of £1000 in and is effectively using it as a savings account. I'd switch to them too but it's £300 more than dirty 'orrible big 6 supplier so have to put up for now.

  • Hi ATT, sounds like your jobs at home are going well. I like the savings idea - I'm now moving all Tilly Tidies to mortgage offset savings.

Hope all is well with you..
