What about lastminute.com - they usually have very nice LDN restaurants who offer set meal deals?

Hiya, thanks for the suggestions - I will chat to the Tilly gang and see what they say :)

  • Hi, I have an anniversary coming up soon and it's weighing heavy at the moment. I'll be posting and back to normal soon though, just feeling out of sorts.

Hope everyone is menu planning, Christmas planning and enjoying their MFW journey.

Morning, Remembrance Day was beautiful and both Mr T and I were proud of our children and the parts they played in the day.

The week or so of anniversaries is almost over and I definitely feel more like myself. I need all my energy back and I'm sure that will happen during this week.

    32p Tilly Tidy to MOS
Just over a week until payday :)

Lovely roast pork for dinner yesterday with perfect crackling. The remaining pork and gravy is ready for the freezer, so we can repeat the enjoyment :)

Dogs had a good old walk yesterday. Mr T is taking them out today as we are both out tonight.

Excellent shopping on Saturday and with DD discount and tactical shopping I snagged some superb bargains. I have another three gifts to buy for Christmas and then I'm wrapping the gifts up.

Tomorrow evening l'll be jumping on the survey bandwagon again. Lap top in the right place, I just have to pick it up :o

Last larger credit card bill has been paid - funds will definitely be tight until payday now but still no redundancy funds or lodger income touched. The freezer is rammed full and I may change the menu plan to use up more freezer contents after this week.

Christmas cake making is on the list for Thursday evening :)

That's all for now. Will get back to regular posting.

Decorating is still in the planning phase :rotfl:

  • Morning, it's amazing what 10 hours straight sleeping can do for you :T

I should have gone out with Mr T last night but had an extremely early night instead - didn't hear anyone come home, nor Mr T come to bed.

Back to finance, 2p Tilly Tidy to MOS - "every little helps"

Mr T JS money has arrived and has been moved to MOS.

Dinner is roast chicken, celeriac, thyme and nutmeg gratin (WR Oct mag) with carrots and roast potatoes. Probably individual blackberry and apple crumbles - hopefully Mr T can make those up today.

There's a fair bit going on with the job hunting but no offers as yet.

    Have a good Tuesday.
