  • I have really enjoyed the diary, many thanks for sharing with us.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Thanks for the freezer info Tilly. I would love to batch cook but just don't have the room.

  • It's only been 2 years? Tilly's diary has become a beloved family saga in my study :)
Full of trials and tribulations but hopefully a bit of laughter along the way, and a few foodie discussions :rotfl:

  • Evening, I'm having an early night, I seem to be having a bad reaction to something, so lying down having a catch up and about to watch Strictly.

Miss T made dinner - a pasta bake which was delicious - more preparation ahead of Uni :)

Dinner tomorrow is SW chicken bhuna (sp?) with rice.

4p TT to MOS :). I'll be done in no time at this rate :rotfl:

Have a good night, Tilly x

Morning, we slept in this morning :o

    No pennies anywhere to TT.

I'm in the office again today and looking forward to catching up with a colleague for coffee - it's their turn to buy so my NSDs will continue.

Tomorrow night is Xmas cookery book night - I'm digging them all out of the bookcase in the kitchen and transferring them to the sitting room. Next week will find me starting to plan :xmassmile Mum is coming to stay for Christmas and I'm really looking forward to spoiling her.

We are discussing what to do for NYE - very tempted to go down to London again as we had such a fab time last year. Not sure what we'd do for dinner though as it would need to be on a budget which doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with NY celebrations.

That's all for now, have a good day - middle of the week already

What about lastminute.com - they usually have very nice LDN restaurants who offer set meal deals?
