Morning, dark and cold but then we are in the middle of November

    No pennies to TT.

Christmas cake baking tomorrow evening :)

Out tonight but very low spends. Eating beforehand at home. Dinner is a 'use up' as only two of us are eating - I have a pizza in the freezer.

    Best wishes Tilly x

    Morning and it's Friday :T

Lovely chicken and mushroom risotto for dinner yesterday and home made stock can be a godsend :)

    99p Tilly Tidy to MOS

Payday next week and bonus has been confirmed for payment early 2014 :T

DD and I spent a lovely couple of hours watching a Xmas film last night.

On a bright note I've decided what to buy DS as his main gift, I just need the pre Xmas sales to start.

I can't remember what's for dinner this evening and I have two con calls tonight, which means DD and DS will have to get stuck in and cook - otherwise dinner will be about 9pm

Did i mention it was Friday :T

We live in hope. As Natty and GG say, the right job is waiting for him.

Hopefully it finds him sooner than later :T

Hope all is well in your world.

Good afternoon, definitely wintery here today. Shopping completed and dogs have had a quick walk. We're taking them to the woods this afternoon for a good run as well and sweet chestnut gathering :)

Lovely smoky ragu sauce made this morning for in the week.

I've spent an hour weeding in the garden and Mr T has oiled padlocks, turned off outside tabs etc ready for winter.

Shopping was £23 in L!dl. Just under £30 in Waitr@se and that was mainly offers to stock up larder. Mr T said to continue tactical bargain shopping - I still think I should have a week of fiscal fast - maybe that should be January.

Mr T is considering what dessert to make for tonight, so I've disappeared to have a nap :T.

DS, DD and I did some secret wrapping for DH last night - definitely feeling Christmassy :xmassmile

I feel very blessed and after watching CiN last night, very grateful for the good health and close relationship our family have. We have come through some challenging situations and stand united - feels pretty good to be able to write that.

Gas and elec deal is up in December and Mr T is investigating where to go next. I had thought we were ok for this year but I was mixing my mum's deal with ours.

We are going to bring all the exercise stuff back upstairs as the garage doesn't have enough room to exercise in at the moment. We don't have a TV in our room, nor the kids rooms, but may need to put one in temporarily for exercise DVDs. Work is pretty tense and I think weight training, like I used to do, would help distract the brain :). Will see how that goes.

DS has vacuumed all downstairs, kitchen has been polished and I think I've earned the right to do nothing for a while :)

    Best wishes

    Tilly

Good morning, just contemplating taking the hounds for an early walk - either this or back to the woods later. The dogs loved it yesterday and it was great to see them running around. Fairly hilly so good exercise for us too.

    No money updates -

Mr T and I are out a couple of nights this week. I will be spending on tickets for events but reasonably low cost. This journey has to be lived as well :)

Mr T cooked pork Milanese yesterday - a bit like schnitzel I guess and very tasty indeed - served with roast veg, green beans. He switched the dessert to this evening and baked some cakes for last night.

I am avoiding the shops at all costs right now. I could do with some more work clothes and really can't afford any right now. I've never bought clothes from eb@y so may need advice from an MSE chum :)

Best wishes for a lovely Sunday

    Tilly x

Ended up planning kitchen designs (given we have no plans for a kitchen anytime soon, not sure why ) instead of dog walking - moved to afternoon instead. :)

Best advice I can give you is buy for the size you are, rather than the size you like to pretend you are. Not advice I follow, obviously :rotfl:.

Morning GG, I think I'll wait until my exercise mojo has returned then. I feel like I've eaten non stop for the last week. I'm putting it down to the cold :eek:
