Good luck Tilly with eBay, I don't often sell and when I do I hate it, vow to never do it again but it's worth it when you see the money transferred. Just be sure to cover your postage costs...It's So expensive posting things now - and now ebay also take 10% of the postage cost, as well as 10% final value fee
You're right Emmita, when the cash rolls in it is worth it, but it seems to be getting more frustrating. However needs must

Morning,
58p TT to offset savings (OS)
6p TT to OS
£13.70 to OS
S&S £10 amaz@n voucher claimed and applied to Am a/c
I have 20p payable in TcB but will have to check whether they pay out under £1 - I don't like leaving anything in when payable, in case it disappears
Mr T received a letter yesterday to advise his previous employer had underpaid his redundancy so an extra payment coming end of this week. As he received more than he was expecting this seems strange but all cash gratefully received
I am going to get back into using weights - will require shifting things back to our bedroom but needs must.
Chicken curry this evening - it's almost time to start a new menu plan, boy this makes you realise how quickly the months whizz by. I'll get it done this weekend and do a larder/freezer inventory as well. I will do Brizzle's trick of leaving the freezer inventory stuck to the freezer, then it will be easier to add bargainous stuff to it, or cross off.
No heating on yet, so looks like making it through to October is achievable.
That's all for now - I need to be in the office earlier this morning so I'd better get cracking.

I'm trying out myhermes courier services for some parcels this week - appears to be a lot I can post for £3.50 + VAT - yeay! A pair of shoes cost me £5.20 to post yesterday..... - I charged £4.95 postage, so ebay took 50p of that (let alone paypal charges) - think I might be using myhermes a lot if these parcels go ok this week!I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

How do you post these? I've been using collect+ as you post from my local shop. I think this is the site I used (bookmarked on own pc, will check) http://www.parcel2go.com/ - you can compare and book all on here.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi all!
Just posted ebay parcels but fairly light stuff..clothes mainly so with the Royal Mail calculator haven't lost anything on postage charges so far. Do agree the ebay charges ..taking a % of postage ..is pretty grim and pretty cheeky but as we know..needs must!
Tilly..just popped in to say we have a brand new lodger starting on Monday..Thanks for all the advice. She seems nice and well house trained:rotfl: no chance of pies and stocking up the freezer though..main thing is to make easy cash!!:rotfl:
The freezer inventory on the fridge door is working well..and like all good PMs;) it makes me feel in control to visibly cross things off my list! Just taken possession of a big bag of apples that some one didn't want and left on their wall with a note asking people to take them away:T..cookers. Just the thing with the roast pork today! May even use up some filo pastry and make apple turnovers too:AMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Well done on getting ebay going again. I have given up for a bit and my last load I just did as 2 job lots and got very little but at least its gone (had tried to sell several times separately).
Every time I read about your menu plan I think I really must get backl on track. I did double amounts Sunday and made chicken version of shep pie for Monday which was a life saver, so I really must start batch cooking again.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... Hi HDK, with yr workload I truly don't know how you cope without menu planning. If you want me to send a menu plan template, I'm happy to.

Take her up on the offer HDK, if Tilly hadn't sent it to me I probably wouldn't be managing to make such nice meals. Tilly, I still refer to yours even though I have my own to try and raid your recipe/menu ideas. I still haven't got the hang of meal planning more than a week in advance but we are spending less and I don't have to go shopping as much so it is all helping. Once I have used up jars and bits I will try to plan for 10 days at a time and then move up from that. Thanks Tilly xMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

If you can follow a good set of instructions (you are female so that is a given) then I will continue to rave about the BBC good food website. Most of my meals come from there or the allrecipes site and you can search for recipes that take less than 30 minutes which from the sound of your schedule will be ideal. Only this week have I started duplicating any recipes since I first used the site in June and that is only to use up some of the ingredients I bought.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
