I spent an hour relaxing in the bath, then had a catch up on the phone with an MSE chum. Dinner was served with another glass of wine and then Monopoly :T. Strictly duly watched then an early night
Lovely start to the weekend.
I'll come and catch up with your diaries

Morning, 41 p and 1p Tilly Tidied to offset mortgage savings pot.
Off grocery shopping, minimal spend on fruit and fresh veg only. Mr T is making a variety of HM bread at the moment
Blackberry picking on the agenda this morning when we drag DS with us for a long dog walk. That should give me enough for pies, crumbles, sauces and jam making added to the freezer.
No washing, ironing or housework to do - thanks Mr T.
I've had a weird week - work was insane, emotions running high at home due to DD CAT test, which went excellently. However, this morning I've woken up feeling my positivity, enthusiasm and energy back. What a truly wonderful feeling and such a welcome relief. It's hard to keep motivating others, if you're feeling a little dodgy yourself
In the almost two years of having a diary, I'm aware that emotions/motivation fluctuates but I also know that I rely on the energy I gain from being enthusiastic and optimistic.
No time for thinking now, I need to get DD to work, then a quick trip to L!dl, then into B&M as they have candy canes - I'm making the Xmas sleighs for kids in a refuge so looking to buy the 'ingredients' at the best prices possible as I'm making 15
No volunteering today but will do an hour tomorrow - that way the kids are with us as well.
Have a fab day - Tilly x2004 £387k 29 years - MF March 2033:eek:

Hi, what a morning :rotfl:
Shopping slightly more than expected as I'd forgotten to budget for the sweets. £12 on the stuff to make the sleighs, not sure whether I have enough as I hadn't taken a list of what was required. It was a bit of a struggle with Mr T in an aisle full of chocolate. Choc coins from L!dl.
Chicken casserole cooking in SC. Will take the bones out and portion tomorrow as I can take the fat off as well, then pack for freezing. I'll use the rest of the stock for a dish in the week.
I'm poaching pears for this evening - kitchen smells lovely.
Finally I'm soaking a bargainous joint of smoked gammon and will cook tomorrow.
Mr T has made two loaves of bread and has a sour dough one proving at the moment.
That's all the food updates. No money updates as TTs were done this morning.
Have a good day

I bought a pack of mini stollen pieces as I thought mum could have one with a cup of tea in the afternoons - never quite sure what bits to take up for her when we visit, but hopefully they'll go down well.

There's just under 800g of blackberries poaching as well now
Maybe that's why I need to lose a few lbs
