Morning
£40 1P payout has finally arrived - not cleared yet so will Tilly Tidy away on Monday :T
Edited to add: who am I kidding -£40 is no TT - I'm putting it in the holiday savings pot instead
Another 20p due from TCB - I'm on a roll now, mortgage will be gone in no time
No pennies to OP

Morning, cooking day
Just about to make apple and cheese scones - Mr T is wrinkling his nose at those though
Large and medium lasagne - medium to eat today, large to put in the freezer
Chicken curry using bargainous thighs
Had a great buy up in L!dl yesterday - their expensive ham - 5 thick slices per pack, rather than translucent - reduced by 30%. Loads of packs reduced so I bought a few, cut the slices in half, production line of wrapping 4 halves in cling film, then bagged them all up. DS and I have beautiful ham for lunch whenever we want
Off to the cinema late afternoon
Found a good quality dog food for my hounds at half the price of the old one.
Went for a long walk late yesterday afternoon and the weather was amazing. Sun was shining and Mr T had to keep delayering - he'd dressed for the cold. Dogs loved it, then slept for hours.
I had a weird sleep last night, I kept dreaming I was awake. I was a little but the rest of the time I must have been asleep. GG ?
Off to start baking, then church, a couple of hours volunteering then cooking.
Have a good Sunday

Sounds like a very busy day ahead. Have a good day
.
I have fallen off the Menu Planning wagon, so going to jump back on it today hopefully. Need to have a good rummage in the freezer and cupboards and see what we have.0 -
Whilst walking yesterday I found blackberries ready for picking. Hopefully when we walk the hounds later, they will still be there. I fancy making a blackberry and almond cake - Wa!trose mag has a plum and almond cake recipe so I thought I'd switch the plums for blackberries.
SD, good luck with your menu planning

Busy day and the kitchen was a confusing smell of Indian takeaway and Italian mamma's home. Slow cooker did a good job with the chicken curry and the bones and skin 'fell' from the chicken thighs tonight. That can cool over night then half packed for the freezer, the other half will be for dinner tomorrow.
Lasagne worked well - Mary Berry recipe rather than the usual make it up as I go along.
Made the decision tonight that any pennies being moved will go into the OP offset pot - not capital repayments. I had a go at doing this before, but couldn't resist moving the moneyOnce Mr T is sorted, we can get back on the wagon, but for now I need to know I have money available if needed. I know I can pull it back from the mortgage but I would rather not do that.
I have looked up some slimming world recipes and will use those plus two SW cookery books I have for October menu planning. I did a few this month and no one could tell they were health options.
We went to see the Millers (need to look up exact title) and loved it. Language was a bit much at times, but probably no more than all the kids at school.
Busy week coming up and I need to arrange to see some friends. Work tends to take over often and it needs putting back in it's place.

Food sounds delish.
I saw We're The Millers too, it was surprisingly good, I didn't think it would be!
And the OPs sounds like a good plan, it's all going to the same place anyway

Morning, I'm grabbing 10 minutes of peace and quiet before jumping in the shower.
I forgot to post that I ordered DD Christmas presents on Friday night. A watch and two charms - good prices thanks to the Grabbit board. I'll wrap and pop them into her gift box. DS is a different story though and I'm struggling to know what to buy a 14 year old.
He will be doing work experience soon - it's not easy to understand whether the school arranges this, or the parents have to. As we have had yet more waves of redundancy announced on Friday, I don't think it's sensible to take him in with me - a bit too depressing for a young lad methinks.
£20 donation required today for a very good cause, so will need to rejig the shopping list next week to accommodate. I have been buying products on special offer and then using DD staff discount so I am aware that my shopping bills will be much less for the next few months.
Mr T is doing the ironing and then planning the programme of redecoration - I'm sure a project plan with dependencies will be in place soon :rotfl:
I may dip my toe into eb@y hell - I have some winter coats which the kids have grown out of, so will get them photographed and the text written, ready to go. Unlikely to make much and do need to consider the cost of postage - at this rate they could go to the CS. However, I'm also able to support a women's refuge so this may be an alternative home.
That's all for now - this week will be a very LSW apart from Thursday when we are off out (Mr and Mrs T), although that should only be a tenner.

Good luck Tilly with eBay, I don't often sell and when I do I hate it, vow to never do it again but it's worth it when you see the money transferred. Just be sure to cover your postage costs...MFW 2013 #146 Target £6000
