Anyway, I've decided to work from home today, then I can make the dinner for this evening during gaps, along with finishing the ironing and any extra washing popped on the line
I'm also going to look up relaxation/meditation on You tube and give myself time out to stop.
Enjoy your first day back, but I saw from your diary it should be an ok day due to exam leave? My DD is doing exams the first three days of this week - there's a load of revision notes everywhere - even stuck on to the door, opposite the loo :rotfl: Apologies if that's TMI
Have a good week Lois
Tilly xx
Um, Tilly, your planned day doesn't sound exactly restful to me. Hope it's going well, anyway.
My day's been OK, thanks. Two and a half hours of not teaching kids who are off on exam leave. So I just had a couple of revision lessons with Y7&8, and some work setting an exam for Y7 that they'll be doing next week on the whole year's work. And a couple of visits from sixth formers in a panic wanting things explained before their exam on Wednesday, and a long meeting.

My life is exactly the same at the moment, every time I get something out of the way I think it will calm down but then someone else throws me a curve ball and the ground feels like it gets moved from underneath me. My boss threw another one my way today and has left me in limbo, I am hoping he will explain by the end of the week.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Mrs T..sorry about the volunteering but yes not stretching yourself too thin is important too. I hate feeling overwhelmed...and it's normally then time to wind myself in and cancel a few events... And focus on the stuff that really needs to get done and leave or delegate the rest.so yep focus on the top right hand corner only!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Hi Tilly,
Glad you seem to be finding some time for yourself these days. Wish I was so,lucky. Yes, I'm earning extra money to help with my savings goal but a wee bit of social life would be nice too. When I do get chance, I'm too knackered to do anything with it!!!:rotfl:
I'm sitting in bed wondering if I should get up and work. Wednesday is my "long day" as I run group from 1pm until 10:30pm, so I like to grab a little lie in. However, my office is screaming at me to go and do some catch up.
Have a good day, Tilly

Hi Tilly. Glad to see you're getting the balance back. I'm not keen on the 'guided' meditations either. Meditation for Dummies is quite good and once you know the techniques you can take yourself through them. I like to sit in the garden when it's sunny and focus on my breathing. In the winter I stay inside and focus on a lit candle.
By the way, every post I read these days is talking about Tillytidies - you've gone viral! :rotfl:
