  • I have a small question to the broad-bean growers. If I remember correctly, Tilly you planted broadbeans, right? I have a few broadbean plants 2-3 feet high, lots of pink-and-black flowers but no beans. Do I hand-pollinate them or am I too late? TIA for the replies.

Hi US, I've never had to pollinate them, they will have flowers and shortly after you will see the pods forming :)

It's been really quite cold here today but we have done quite a lot of work in the garden. Peas and mange tout are going mad :):)

Car all packed up for car boot sale tomorrow morning - plans have changed and I'm getting up with Mr T - I'm actually quite looking forward to it (not getting up but the sale itself :rotfl:). Float ready, carrier bags, coat hangers for a few clothes.

    Night, Tilly x

  • Hiya, brrrrrrrrrrrwas it cold :eek:

However, we made £45.62 profit :T. Cleared out junk and still have 4 good things to put on eb@y.

US, thanks for the FLW heads up :T.

Froggy, you must have been listening as yes, I did offer to sell Mr T and DD on a couple of occasions, but no takers :rotfl:

It was really good fun, if extremely cold. Lots of banter with the stall holders all around us.

Came back and had a brandy and coffee to warm me up :)

Mr T is going to the bank tomorrow morning :):):) and we can OP tomorrow night.

I need to plant some geraniums now, otherwise our kerb appeal will be looking a little dodgy.

    Best wishes Tilly
