I remember many a gig I landed up going to after having a wee drink and buying tickets ... A-ha were amazing and a band I would never have seen had it not been for a drunken ticket purchase
I usually found out i was going when the tickets arrived:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Glad you enjoyed the cinema Tilly! - I do love those films :rotfl:
Your dinner ideas always sound fab too!
Keep on keeping on , I find motivation definitely ebbs and flows with this but that's okay , I figure we are all like that and unless its a matter of months , we need to keep at it for years to finish the journey so a few meh days or weeks even shouldn't matter in the long term!0 -
I think the accidental house purchase started off with a bottle of wine Right Move evening :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Mr T is making the supper Morcilla con Manzana from Casa Moro. It's a tapas type dish and we are cheating and having it with a larger salad.
I read that as 'lager salad' - must be beerly time for the weekend :beer:0 -
Evening, catching up on diaries whilst on an escalation call about Brazil - fantastic.
Mr E, I think Mr T may quite fancy a lager salad - will suggest it
El & GG, I promise not to buy any accidental 'anythings'
Ixia, Mr T wants to see Ironman as well - no clue when we will fit that in :rotfl:
I'd better go back to paying attention
Have a good night

Morning Tilly
Re £co - that never used to be the case so must be a change in terms since the premium account thing came in.However, if you are past your anniversary date (can check this on account settings) you can downgrade to basic - then as you don't pay £5 fee and the checks in are your own again
Thanks for bringing the change to my attention
Have a lovely weekendBW

Morning, frantic but fun weekend.
67p TT
H@lif@x rewards to come back today hopefully
Meal plan for the coming week only and no real shopping done this weekend.
30 minutes of ironing finished a few minutes ago and I need to get the fish out of the freezer for dinner this evening. It needs to be a quick one, so not sure whether I'll have time for fish pie.
Work calls again this evening
I haven't been posting as much recently as, although my life is normally busy, the last week or two have seen a turn to the ridiculous. I'm taking some practical steps to improve the situation but I won't benefit for a few weeks. So in the meantime, our volunteering is taking a back seat. We haven't been this weekend, are doing an hour one night this week, but we will then step down for a couple of months. It seems a bit sad but both of us (Mr and Mrs) feel we are being pulled too thin - and that has to stop.
Have a glorious day with the sun shining.
Best wishes
