Great going on eBay (I've been put off with all the postage hike talk, however really should make an effort to look into this as I do have lots of stamps from doing the PO surveys:o)

Eb@y is great for clear outs, but I find the process frustrating to load, respond to inane questions and then if you get disputes, I feel like sending Mr T after them :rotfl: Fortunately I have only had 3 disputes and all last week, which appeared on Saturday afternoon. I swear people can't read
If you've got your free stamps, that's a fab way to improve your profitget cracking. It can be a little light relief from studying :rotfl:

Evening,
Just got off a con call - goodness I'll be glad when I stop working
Hummous filled pastry cases served with a watercress salad in a lemon dressing for dinner mmmmmmm if I say so myself
Last night we had oxtail cooked in Rioja - from the Casa Moro cookbook - magnificent and I can highly recommend.
No money updates - will do financials tomorrow evening. Mortgage sig updated. June will see us break the next £100k barrier.
I'm definitely having a few wobbles at the moment and I've been through this a few times since starting my diary. I know they pass but keeping the focus when the numbers are huge is difficult. I do appreciate we are fortunate to be able to clear chunks but that does come with a heavy workload - occasionally my energy levels drop.
Fortunately I know this will pass and normal service will be restored
Off for an early night, as early early calls tomorrow

Hi Tilly
Sorry you're having a hard time at the moment - those conf calls sound a complete nightmare. I presume you're having to fit in with different time zones? Hope it calms down soon and you get the chance to recharge your batteries. Could be why it's hard to keep the focus, as I have found that if you're busy both at work and home, something has to give or you make yourself ill.
You're doing so well (and inspiring lots of others, like me) so give yourself a pat on the back and give yourself a break for a while, perhaps, looking back at your diary to see how far you've come? Or can you set yourself a mini-target, if you are able to keep ploughing on?
Take care of yourself

Morning,
88p TT OP
Dinner this evening is a salad with black pudding. I can't remember the name but from the Casa Moro book again
Fish pie tomorrow night - going off menu plan - reckless woman that I am
We did do a couple of hours volunteering over the weekend, which I'd forgotten about.
Lodger arriving next week
Tonight's task is the financials.
Plus I need to do the June menu plan. Freezer and larder inventories need updating beforehand. I haven't decided which cookery books to use but will follow the same approach of 3 or 4 different books. Everyone seems to be enjoying trying new things.
Have a good Wednesday and soon be Friday

Hi Tilly, sorry that you were feeling below par over the weekend. But I must say that your posts definitely give me energy to get off my backside and do something about my own financial situation, so although it's early in the day I'm sending you a large G&T/glass of wine (delete as appropriate) to be drunk later this evening with your feet up and some nice music playing!Flowers are sunshine for the soul0
